Woodford model 14 silcock internal rod replacement
Product exactly the correct internal guts for my 34 year old Woodford model 14 outdoor water spigot/silcock. Picture shows worn out old internal rod with the end portion missing besides the newly purchased rod. Installation was just remove and replace.

Replacement worked as expected -- Received Woodford Part# 35723, 11-7/8" rod
I received the part number 35723 as per the description, and the rod measured to be 11 7/8” from end to end. I bought this to repair a Woodford 17 spigot that was leaking due to the a crack in the latter half of the assembly, and all worked as it should after swapping out. Seems pricey for a simple component, but it's still better than buying the whole unit or even the repair kit if you know specifically what you need.I highly recommend you go to Woodford's website, click on the Model 17 Specs and review what part numbers you may need. Be sure to measure the rod from your model to cross-reference Woodford's part numbers guide, as that'll save you any headaches or surprises.

Quality Part
This is the original replacement part for my faucets. It is the same quality as the original. This part has a rubber back-flow/ preventer, where my original part(circa 1984) did not. I had repaired several faucets with repair kits and noticed that one had more corrosion in the end shut-off portion. It was still usable; but perhaps weakened and I did not want the end to become detached from the rod. I replaced it with this new part.The other faucet had no corrosion in the end-piece and was not replaced- it was as good as new after all those years. Since I had previously installed the repair kits, I was able to measure the existing rods. There is good documentation on the Woodford website.

The only option but it works
When it comes to repairing one of these frost proof faucets there are few options. A little wonky putting it together but it seems to work. Not cheap.

Just what I was looking for.
Came fast. Even though no instructions, I was able to replace it in just couple of minutes. Haven't turned on the fauct on yet. Will see how it performs in couple of days. Will update review if any issues encountered
