Angler's Fish-N-Mate

These wheels are awesome on soft or compact sand! They are nothing less than amazing how easy it is to pull. We live in Hawaii so Wheeleez on Amazon does not ship here and going directly on their website its over $200 to ship here That's why the choice was made to purchase this Anglers kit We have one of those beach carts branded by Tommy Bahama which looks exactly like the "Rio". This kit does not just swap out with the original axel like the Wheeleez brand does. HOWEVER it is a relatively simple adaptation using "U" clamps found at any hardware store. I bought a pair of stainless steel ones for just a few dollars. Highly recommending to our friends to get these too!!!

It is truly amazing how easy it is to pull the cart through soft sand with these tires. I bought a set of two wheels and an axle in May of 2023 for a senior cart. It is now 2026. I've had no trouble with them. I have never checked the pressure, so I got an inflating needle and attached it to a low-pressure gauge. The pressure was a little low, so I pulled out the bike pump and added a couple of pushes. When I pulled the needle out, the tire leaked out of the fill hole. Long story short, I used a tire leak sealer that has an external pump trigger with the inflating needle. 99% of the sealant went on the outside of the tire, but enough went inside to work. Make sure to lay the tire on its side with the inflation opening down so the sealant will flow into it.

Added to Bass Pro Offshore Angler fishing cart. Wheels glide over the sand. I cut the axel in half, then installed it in the existing axel mounts. I used the existing spacers between the wheel and the frame of the cart. Fit perfect. On the inside of the axel, put a 5/8” collar with a set screw to prevent the axel from moving. If you’re wondering if the tires will fit, they definitely will. The tires are smaller than the original, but no issues.

This is a nice kit, everything is there to make the swap and its a breeze to do. The axle is sized for the larger (wider) cart so this dude really hangs out on the junior cart. Will it work like that? yup. Does it look odd? IMO yup. I cut 2.5" off of mine but I also have access to the tools and a welder to make the required modifications.. It would be nice if they offered the correct axle for the junior cart.

I replaced the standard tires on my Bass Pro fishing cart with these balloon poly tires. It made going down the beach half as hard as with the standard tires. Well worth the money. Very easy to install. Once installed it made the width of the cart too wide to go through a 36 inch door opening. I just stood the empty cart on end and passed through the door opening. One of the supplied u-bolts was not threaded correctly and I was unable to use it on the installation. I used the original u-bolt that came with my cart. Definitely worth the money.

These are pricey but were a fantastic addition to my beach cart. They made it much easier to pull it long distances with a lot of gear.

I got these for my Anglers Fishing Cart. Had the cart for years to get all our beach stuff out and back easily. Used the regular tires and always struggled with the soft sand. These wheels were what I needed for the sand for sure! Problem is getting the air pressure correct. Leave them too low and the cart drags too low and getting it down walkways is a chore. Get them more pumped up and there becomes a massive wobble to the cart. I take my yeti, beach chairs and other gear. Prob 115 lbs total. There is a warp at that weight and kind of embarrassing. I walk slow and tone the wobble down like that. These are good. Probably and upgrade from where I was but not perfect by any means. **Edit** After using these tires for a month, I think they are now so warped from the heat that they are bound for the trash. Its just too thin of a rubber to hold its shape in 100 degree heat with @ 100lb of gear and cooler. Very disappointed in the longevity of this.

These larger wheels are so much easier to roll across dry sand. The old black smaller wheels made the thing feel like it weighed 100 pounds fully loaded I can easily roll it by myself now.
