Accurate sizing
I liked that the diameter was accurately sized. My 1/8 rods were .125 +/- .0002 diameter which fit my application very well. The stainless steel was strong, but could be bent if necessary.

One Rod, despite what photo in description implies.
Good item, photo in listing is misleading, since you only get one rod. I probably would have ordered anyway, since I only need one, but still was surprised and had to go back and check description.

Stainless wire
The wire was very good and food grade. However it was very expensive for so few pieces so I had to find same quality for much less money and I did

Larger than 7/16" - FAIL
These are not 7/16" diameter rods. The decimal equivalent of 7/16 is 0.4375....these "precision" rods measure 0.480 to 0.490. That's close enough for government work, but not close enough if you're a machinist, or if you just need them to fit into a 7/16" hole. And yes, my micrometer is calibrated. 7/16 means 7/16, not "around" 7/16. If in-the-ballpark suits your needs then these are fine, but if you're buying expecting them to measure 7/16" buy drill stock instead.

Correct length and diameter!
Measured 7/16" and was exactly 12". Nice end finish. No sharp burrs.

Not Quite 12"
Actual length including burrs left from sloppy cuts was 11-3/4", actual length squared up to 11-1/2". Fortunately I didn't need the entire length for my project, so I'm not returning it for a refund

Larger than 7/16
This rod is slightly larger than 7/16. I required a precise fit and I drilled three sample holes with three different 7/16 bits before drilling my main piece to test fit and all three holes were too small. I had to shave down the rod to eventually fit.

I got these SS rods today, shortly after ordering, and they are ideal for my needs! I needed them to fashion knife scale pins from, and they are just the right size! Made of SS, 12" long, and 1/16" in diameter, perfect! Thanks K&S, and Amazon!
