A small game-changer.
I've purchased these before in the past in order to help facilitate connecting various External Hard Disk Drives to my Macbook Pro. The item is sleek enough to fit two side-by-side in the two USB ports in my Macbook, requires no further setup to work and has sturdy build quality. The compact size reduces the risk of it being knocked or bashed whilst on the move and allows me to keep them plugged in whilst travelling.No degradation of speed from the source device connected through this port and seems to operate at 10Gbps speeds.

pretty much perfect apart from the warming
I recently purchased the Syntech USB C to USB Adapter (2 Pack), and overall, I'm quite pleased with the product. I primarily use these adapters to connect my older USB-A peripherals, like flash drives and keyboards, to my newer USB-C devices, and they work flawlessly. The transfer speeds are as expected with USB 3.0, which is a significant plus.The design is sleek and minimalist, blending well with my other devices. The small size makes them easy to carry around in my laptop bag without taking up much space. I also appreciate that this pack comes with two adapters, which is convenient for someone who has multiple devices.My only minor gripe is that these adapters can get a bit warm after extended use, though it's nothing too concerning. Good solution
These work a treat for connecting my devices with a USB cable to my computer which only has type C ports. They don’t appear to have any detrimental impact on connectivity and they seem sturdy so I am very pleased with them.
