GOYOJO Digital Night Vision Scope, Day & Night Hunting Rifle Optics, 1080P/2K Resolution NV Scopes for Hunting with Camera & Video

I want to preface this review and say I have owned and used passive night vision optics in the form of a gen 3 PVS-14, so I know what good night vision should look like and how it works. If you are expecting quality and image intensification similar to what you experienced using something similar to that, you will be disappointed with this scope. With that said, if you are wanting something for hunting coyotes or other varmints at night, this optic is awesome. The mounting system is extremely robust and well thought it, allowing for several inches of adjustment for dialing in eye relief and optic positioning. Because of the nature of digital optics, the eye relief isn't super generous, so the rearward cantilever of the mount is critical for having the best experience using this thing. The body of the scope is entirely aluminum and feels like it can handle some bumps and knocks, and the battery housing screws down and has a pretty decent gasket, so I have no worries about water intrusion. The buttons are located on the top of the unit have have a good feel to them. The menus and user interface are well thought out and easy to operate once you learn the secondary function of all the buttons. There are several reticle options and colors as well as several NV color options. The user interface has some useful tools such as picture in picture, a compass and a level feature. The image quality is excellent on the 2k model with more than enough resolution for 20x zoom(5x optical, the rest is digital). The night vision is crisp and clear with the included IR illuminator on and properly focused. One slight gripe with my unit is that the illuminator isn't quite aligned at distance, but it's close enough to throw IR out to a few hundred yards. I have mine mounted on a 10/22 and it has held zero just fine bouncing around in the truck and plinking at the range. I can't comment yet on long term zero or battery life, but so far, so good. Zeroing is pretty easy as you simply fire a shot or small group into a target and simply move the reticle over that zero and lock it in. All in all, this is a great little optic for a reasonable price that works as well in the daytime as it does at night.

I’m seriously impressed with the GOYOJO GS515, especially for the price! The image is much clearer than I expected, and the night vision works extremely well even when it’s completely dark out. The built-in IR is strong, the screen is crisp, and the zoom gives you plenty of range. Being able to record video and take pictures is a nice bonus too. I honestly wasn’t expecting this level of performance from something in this price range! It’s also surprisingly easy to use. I was able to figure out the controls and get everything adjusted without spending an hour buried in the manual. Focusing is simple, the buttons are easy to get used to, and switching between the different functions is straightforward. Battery life has been solid as well. If you’ve been wanting to try digital night vision but don’t want to spend a ridiculous amount of money, the GS515 is a great place to start!

A neat little optic that I haven't really had a chance to play with. Good clarity. The buttons are a little confusing. and maybe it is just me not being able to figure out the infrared but I keep getting a perfect square of polygons that cover my sights when I switch to infrared does anybody have a fix for that?

Way better than expected! The GOYOJO GS515 performs much better than other day/night scopes in the same price range. It comes with everything you may need to mount and operate it including rechargeable batteries, charging cable with power head, offset mounting adapter, lens cloth The build is very well made of quality materials that are at a premium fit and finish. It has more options than I could possibly use but still very easy to setup and operate. Picture in Picture, multiple reticles each with many color choices. You can’t go wrong with this scope. People call it entry level but I think it’s performs at a much higher level. Day time use gives a clean sharp image and easily swaps to NV with just one button. I really like not having to remove the batteries to recharge them and one of my favorite features is the NV has three IR settings of IR brightness it also has a NV setting that doesn’t require the IR to be on allowing full color viewing in low light. I highly recommend this day/night scope.

UPDATE: DO NOT BUY!!! FIRE AND BURN HAZARD. Polarity for battery compartment is not marked. It will instantly get red hot if placed backwards. Turns off if you bump it or tilt it down past 45°. Will not stay on even for a 22lr. I have to turn it on keep the rifle level as I'm moving, fire the turn it back on. CHINESE JUNK

While I see no mention of the word "refurb" in the listing, the unit I received has several wear marks on the mount, showing that if clearly has seen previous use. As this unit cost $30 more than direct from the factory, I would expect NEW! Other than that, it seems to be fully functional and well made. Issue while sighting in... You need to do it on the lowest magnification. Otherwise, when you go back to shooting each adjustment will be twice, (10x) three times (15 x) or four times (20x) what you intended.

Awesome night vision scope have took it out to 200 yards so far has great day scope and really good night vision it's mounted on my Savage Mark 2 and had no problems mounting it. Has very good instructions on how to operate it has crosshair drop 4 different ones has several reticals to choices and color. Has one shot scope alignment and just a great scope for the price. Would recommend to anyone and will be buying another one myself also has nice appearance to it.

This truly a great product that comes with everything that you may need to use it immediately without having to buy extra needed items. The picture is clear the zoom is incredibly detailed. I’m still learning the menu dance . I have all ideas thst I will be enjoying for a long time . UNBELIEVABLE . First night i accidentally installed batteries incorrectly. Charged for 12 hours before i realized my error. Unit wouldn’t work. I cleaned off the melted battery contacts ( see pics) and the center contact ( pic) not expecting anything to work. I checked battery levels and they were 50% charged. Reinstalled them again not expecting anything to work. The unit TURNED ON !! Had my data STILL STORED and is working FINE. GREAT PRODUCT!!
