Perfect fit for my bike.

Installation was easy enough on an 07 KLR when I had to replace the stock filter.Only issue I had was that I needed to remove the plastic tab. I have a hard time seeing anyone having any trouble with it, unless their hands are massive hunks of meat with really stubby little fingers, or they're literally so uncoordinated and impatient that they probably shouldn't be riding a motorcycle to begin with. It'll fit in the airbox easily enough if you do this magical thing called "re-orienting" the filter as you put it in. The pin is easily accessible to your fingers, and it's not necessary to try cramming your entire hand into the airbox to tighten it either. If you don't have enough strength in your hand to do it that way, just use a pair of pliers to tighten it.After the installation I noticed a very slight increase in power, but I think this has more to do with the stock filter being filthy than anything else.

It was a bit of a challenge to get the top to seat. The lube helps with that. The filter works as advertised which is great! Between the jets, exhaust and filter the bike has a lot more pep. I've even installed a K&N on an airplane and it gets more manifold pressure on takeoff and during cruise! I have been using K&N on most everything for years and they give better fuel economy and a slight increase in power.

Very straight forward install, Very noticeable power increase with my FMF Power Core 4 Exhaust, My KLR650 is a completely different machine!!! Makes a big difference with exhaust and Dynojet - Jet & Needle kit. Highly recommend if you’re trying to get every bit of power you can get, K&N is a name I trust and religiously use it will outlast the life of the bike.

I bought two of these for my KLR 650's. There are pretty easy to put on. I cannot tell if they make a difference over the stock air filter which is a very big sponge on a plastic frame. This price is a very solidly built quality air filter.

Much better than the foam one that the bike came with. I washed the old one in light soap and water and the glue came apart. The bike idles smoother than it did with the foam one that had been washed several times.

Install was easy. Included grease to seal edges was nice. Increased air flow made my engine run smoother. Longevity of filter means I will never have to buy another air filter for this motorcycle with proper maintenance.

Little difficult to install but nothing to do with the filter. Working great so far👌
