Bought this while it was on sale for prime day and I wish I had bought 5. It is so creamy and wonderful. Not too heavy but for someone living in the southwest desert it does a very good job of locking in moisture. I use it as my night cream and for days my skin just feels like it needs a little extra. The smell is mild and lovely. All around very impressed

It’s hard to find reasonably priced skincare that delivers real results, but this one does.My skin feels softer, smoother, and more hydrated, with a subtle tightening effect, especially on my forehead. The rich yet lightweight formula absorbs well, layers nicely under makeup, and keeps my skin comfortable all day. A little goes a long way, making it an excellent value. I’ll definitely repurchase it.

This is a great moisturizer. It is rich and creamy and leaves my skin feeling super soft and hydrated. I usually apply moisturizer to my face only in the evening. Because this cream is fragrance-free, it is perfect for me in the morning, as well. Highly recommend!

I want to start by saying that the product itself functions beautifully. As someone who deals with seborrheic dermatitis on my face, this has been incredible during really bad flares. When my skin is irritated or slightly broken, even products marketed as gentle can burn, but this barrier repair cream has yet to do that. Instead, it actually soothes my skin and brings noticeable comfort during some of my worst flares. It has also helped my dermatitis without causing breakouts, which is extremely rare for me.Functionality wise, this is easily a 5 star product. My issue is the price, packaging, and quantity.For someone using this casually, the price may feel justifiable. But for people with conditions like dermatitis or psoriasis who may need to use a barrier cream regularly or daily, spending nearly $65 every time you need another jar just isn’t sustainable. I also can’t help but feel like part of what we’re paying for is the beautiful glass packaging. It is a very nice jar, but I would happily take simpler plastic packaging if it meant getting more product or bringing the cost down.The quantity also feels hard to justify at this price. In my photos, there is an air gap that reaches the bottom of the jar. Once I tapped the container and let the cream settle, the gap disappeared, but the product level dropped noticeably below the rim (it never actually reached the rim in the first place) and made the jar look partially used. For nearly $65, I expected it to feel much more generously filled. Skincare sometimes feels like it’s never a win win situation. You either find an affordable drugstore product that gives you a generous amount but doesn’t work for your particular skin, or you finally find something your skin absolutely loves and it costs an arm and a leg for what feels like 2 tablespoons of product. That’s what makes this difficult for me because this is one of the few products that genuinely works for my face. I’ll continue using what I have, but I’ll also be looking for a more affordable alternative because I don’t think the current price to quantity ratio is realistic for long term use. I appreciate Alpyn’s intentional story, but a beautiful and inspiring story should not become a luxury tax. At $62 a jar, unless these are being individually hand whipped like true small batch skincare, it begins to feel like we’re paying for the narrative and presentation almost as much as the cream itself.

I’m shocked at the reviews for this “moisturizer”. I can’t remember the last time I purchased something and felt so duped. I’ve actually made better moisturizer myself. I couldn’t believe I spent $70 on this. I couldn’t wait to be done with it forever. Unfortunately using it felt like torture, because it wasn’t moisturizing, it was way overpriced, and there wasn’t much else redeeming about it either. The scent was… normal, I guess? Not really like it was scented, just that something was there and it didn’t smell especially bad. The container is glass which is maybe what makes it look and feel like a more substantial product than it actually is. Holy hell, never again. Maybe my hopes were too high because their name is “Alpine” beauty and I live in an alpine environment, where good moisturizer is something you can’t live without. Either way, just no. No no no. I’ve tried two other new moisturizers in this exact price range that freaking run circles around this, but those products were actually really good across the board. Can’t wait to pick one of them to be my go-to moisturizer - I really can’t lose, as long as I stay away from this.

I love this cream but very upset it was opened and the protective part on cream gone plus it looked used. The other was fine. I got these on sale and was so happy.
