Learn JAPANESE Vocabulary

This is amazing, I love the pictures and the expressions!

The Japanese Vocabulary book by DokiDoki Comics is packed full of useful vocab for Japanese learners as well as adorable pictures. The pages are organized in a simple way that is pleasing to look at. The Kanji all includes Furigana so you won’t need to know how to read Kanji yet to use this book. I would recommend knowing Hiragana/Katakana as there is no Romaji except for a key chart in the back of the book. I think this was an excellent decision by the author as us Japanese learners need to learn to give up our Romaji crutches. I also recommend getting the ‘Japanese Workbook’ by DokiDoki to compliment this book. It helps me to feel less overwhelmed if I memorize vocab based on each section of the workbook. For example, the first section is things you find at school. I really appreciate the work that was put into these helpful learning tools and I hope to see more books by DokiDoki in the future.
