How does this compare to the strength an taughtness of zinc oxide tape, yet is it better for sensitive skin?

It compares very well, I do not myself have sensitive skin so cannot comment with regard to that, the only drawback I find is getting the backing off, that is quite difficult but once achieved this is very good tape and sticks very well. Hope that helps.

how long does it stay on and does it stay on after a shower?

I keep it on for two days . Don’t think it would stay on after a shower .
