super comfortable and has a low profile
My mom had to order this shock doctor cup on Amazon, because the local Dicks store was sold out. I needed a new one for my Lacrosse games and this one seemed liked it was light weight and had the flex that I needed for fast running at the goal. I had my first game last Tuesday and this baby lived up to every requirement I had. I would recommend shock doctor for any protective requirements you may have. If you play a sport that has the potential for hard blows to your junk, you need to get this shock doctor cup. its awesome and super comfortable.

Sizing off, otherwise great
Let me start by saying my son prefers this cup over all others. I bought the compression short with cup combo in a Youth Medium and it all fit perfectly for my small 11 year old (70 lbs). I purchased an extra cup for a second pair of shorts, so I assumed youth medium would be correct. It is SIGNIFICANTLY bigger than the youth medium that came in the same branded shorts. It is the exact same style of cup other than being MUCH larger than the other medium. Maybe it would be fine to be a bit too large, but it looked absurd, so I returned. If in doubt, buy both size chart and a size down to determine best size.

My high school catcher likes these better than some of the other more bulky/hard protectors. Much more comfortable for him and just as protective.

I practice Muay Thai, this has saved me from a bad day a few times. Yay!

Runs small.
Works great. I'm new to the crotch protection games, but I was surprised to find I bought the right size. I am happy with what I have, but the very well endowed should opt for a size XL, as size L is barely big enough to work.
