It is a lighter weight and easily folds for transport.

Excellent light weight wheelchair
We bought this wheelchair for an elderly relative for trips out and we are very pleased with it, it’s super easy to fold and unfold, very light and easy to push and comfortable to boot. So definitely recommended.

Light strong and comfortable
This is a light, strong well made and comfortable to use chair. So it is easy to fold up and lift into the car (which is a medium-size estate car ). I use it a lot round the house where it is maneuverable and light to drag out of an awkward corner. The manual is quite good. I have not tried to take the large wheels off and on so cannot comment. My only negative is that the heel loops are of fabric webbing and easily trampled flat. It is not mentioned in the Amazon info that it is the 18-inch wide model
