The Babycorns Interactive Baby Doll (Kitten) by ZURU has been such a hit in our home. Both my toddlers absolutely love it. These keep them highly engaged and entertained with their lights, sounds, and fun unboxing surprises. It’s the kind of toy that sparks imagination and curiosity. The quality feels good for the price, and since I was able to get it on sale, it felt like an even better deal. It is colorful, interactive, and just the right size for little hands to hold for my 3 and 4 year old toddlers.

I got this for my great niece and she loved it. It was like a gift inside a gift, with many gifts..lol.. It was well packaged and a great size. This was a gift that proved to be a lot of fun for the one opening it as well as for those watching it being opened.

I got this as a Christmas gift for my 4 year old granddaughter. It's a very cute toy and I'm sure she'll enjoy it, but I'm glad I opened it first. The product specifications say no batteries are needed, but I couldn't understand how it would have lights and sounds without some sort of battery. I started looking at reviews and saw one where it showed where batteries had to be installed on the back of the head. Unfortunately it didn't say what kind. I wanted it to be ready for play as soon as she got it so I decided to open it up to put the batteries in. Boy am I glad I did, because the frustration of getting it open was so ridiculous she probably would have lost interest in waiting to see it. First I removed the decorative plastic wrap. It didn't come off easily, and mostly came apart in little straps. Some of the pieces were too sticky and didn't come off so I had to work those pieces off. Getting the pieces from under and around the rockers was annoying but not terribly difficult. I finally got all of it off, only to find there's another layer of plastic to be removed. The first layer had all the pictures. The second layer was a solid cover. And there was tape. More tape than necessary, and it was hard to remove. I was trying to be careful not to scratch the actual toy underneath, but it wasn't easy because, aside from the tape, the plastic was sealed pretty tight. This layer was a little harder to work under and around the rockers. Finally getting through this layer, there was more tape holding the cover in place. Got that off, opened the top, and the doll was strapped inside of the shell. More tape to get the strap off, which was tricky because this was under the rockers. At last I got the doll out. Then you need a screwdriver to get the battery compartment open. A tiny screwdriver. It requires 3 AAA batteries. Putting the cover back on the shell is a little annoying because each time I got one section in place another section would pop out. All told it took about 20 minutes to open this and have it ready for play. If it's a Christmas gift, save yourself the bother of trying to do this in the midst of everything else on Christmas morning. Get it ready ahead of time then put it in a gift bag to make it look nice. It's a cute toy and kids will enjoy it, but I took one star off for the sheer frustration a parent will have to deal with. There's no way a kid could get it open all alone. And the product specifications should include information about the battery requirements.
