Very good high quality jacket this is my 2nd jacket, my first one last me more than 6 years still good and warm and I gave it away, I brought the jacket for work only but the jacket was so warm in the winter I had to start using a jacket as my overall jacket because it was warmer than all my other jackets I had at that time and if I put a hoodie underneath it, I don’t care how cold it got I was good!. It was the best warmest jacket I own again with a hoodie on really cool days it was almost no cold penetrating through the jacket great rugged jacket high quality jacket again after award the jacket for some years the jacket was still good for somebody to keep warm in. Can not go wrong with this jacket * Best Buy * Carhartt work jackets and pants are great quality ! No I do not work for carhartt but there work clothes very rugged and high-quality better than all the others !

Bought this as a gift, I was told it’s a great coat. The material is warm and durable, the coat has nice size pockets, and a heavy duty zipper.

Very nice, get tons of compliments but if it’s really windy I can feel it go through the zipper if that makes sense

All the recommendations to size down were true. I generally wear large or XL, but a medium J140 is perfect for me. There’s still room for a hoodie underneath.

The fitting is exactly as described: loose. If you want a fitting similar to a Detroit jacket, order one size down to get that relaxed fit. The outer layer is FIRM duck, and much firmer than it of a washed duck layer.

Schon beim ersten Anziehen merkt man sofort, dass hier auf Langlebigkeit und Funktion gesetzt wurde. Das Außenmaterial aus festem Duck-Canvas ist extrem robust und hält auch härterer Beanspruchung problemlos stand. Egal ob auf der Baustelle, im Wald oder im Alltag – die Jacke wirkt nahezu unverwüstlich. Gleichzeitig sorgt das gesteppte Flanellfutter im Inneren für ordentlich Wärme, selbst bei sehr niedrigen Temperaturen. () Besonders praktisch ist die große Kapuze sowie die geräumigen Taschen. Die Jacke bietet viel Stauraum und schützt gut vor Wind, was sie ideal für Arbeiten im Freien macht. Auch die Rippstrickbündchen halten die Wärme effektiv im Inneren. () Der Loose Fit fällt typisch Carhartt eher großzügig aus. Das ist perfekt, wenn man noch einen Hoodie oder mehrere Schichten darunter tragen möchte. Wer es enger mag, sollte eventuell eine Nummer kleiner wählen. Ein kleiner Nachteil: Die Jacke ist anfangs ziemlich steif und braucht etwas Zeit, bis sie richtig eingelaufen ist. Danach wird sie aber deutlich angenehmer zu tragen. Fazit: Eine extrem strapazierfähige, warme und funktionale Jacke, die sich besonders für harte Arbeit und kalte Bedingungen eignet. Wer eine langlebige Outdoor- oder Arbeitsjacke sucht, macht hier definitiv nichts falsch.
