Ledger Nano S Plus - Classic Crypto Wallet

This was my first hardware wallet after 4 years in Crypto and I love it! Already have the new Ledger Flex on the way because I enjoy the perks of Ledger vs keeping my digital assets on exchanges. Pros: - Easy to setup - As they say..."Not your keys, not your crypto". Moving your Bitcoin and other digital assets to cold storage is the best way to ensure you truly own/control your Crypto should exchanges go down or become insolvent. - MUCH higher staking rewards than exchanges. Cut out the middle man who is scalping so much of your staking rewards. Its great to have your money making money! - Similar in size and quality to a portable USB Drive, only with a little screen built into it. Portable, concealable, small footprint. - Easy to use, UI is pretty seamless Cons: - Very basic in function, does what it needs to and nothing more. No frills, no luxury, just the basics. - USB-C connection. Not really a CON per say, but with bluetooth wireless models available this does add the extra need for a cable (included in package). if you are moving your crypto around frequently this can become a little cumbersome needing to always plug up. I have already ordered a more robust model based on the two very minimal cons. For beginners, or those who just want an easy, price economical way to store the crypto off-chain this is perfect!

Me llegó en un día desde EU a mty. Dice que el vendedor es ledger official entonces supongo que todo bien. El plástico de la caja venía en perfecto estado, no parece haber sido manipulado el empaque, y lo configuré fácil en PC. Me salieron varias actualizaciones para el ledger y las tienes que instalar de una por una así que tómate tu tiempo, pero en general todo ok.

Works great but it is a pain in the butt to use. I should have just paid the extra for the touch screen.

Easy to use as long as you take your time and follow the instructions.

This is a must-have device to keep your things secure.

I was not able to proceed with the ledger live because the buttons to click were not showing on computers. I had to repeat that problem 10 times no one would listen. Email cs was really not great its never timely or right away. Then i had to go to fb and repeated the same damn problem again 6 times...no one hears anymore? then finally i was told to use the phone and it work more but then you needed special cable that they did not bother send in the packaging. The level repetiions were incredible to get through to them that its not worth it. No would call pretending its a security issue?? so here i am 5 days later no device working. Do you think this is normal?

I purchased the Ledger Nano S Plus because the original Nano S I had failed when I tried to upgrade the firmware. The OLED display was also starting to fail, making it almost impossible to enter password. This Nano S Plus is the successor with similar design but it is slightly thicker and has a larger OLED display with white pixels instead of blue as on original. My only concern is having this display eventually fail. The Plus also has more memory so can support all the features of the Ledger Live software, which the original S could not. This also means more crypto support. Operation is the same with two buttons, so if you are familar with S, you won't have issues with the Plus.

Quando si parla di sicurezza delle criptovalute, Ledger è uno dei primi nomi che viene in mente, e dopo aver acquistato questo dispositivo capisco perfettamente il perché. La configurazione iniziale è risultata abbastanza semplice anche per chi non è un esperto e, una volta completata, trasmette immediatamente una sensazione di sicurezza e affidabilità. Uno degli aspetti che apprezzo maggiormente è la possibilità di conservare le chiavi private offline, riducendo notevolmente i rischi legati a malware, attacchi informatici o problemi delle piattaforme di scambio. Sapere che i propri asset sono protetti da un dispositivo dedicato offre una tranquillità che difficilmente si ottiene lasciandoli su un exchange. L'applicazione associata è ben realizzata e permette di gestire un gran numero di criptovalute in modo intuitivo. Le operazioni principali risultano semplici da eseguire e l'interfaccia accompagna passo dopo passo nelle varie procedure. Dal punto di vista costruttivo il dispositivo appare solido e ben rifinito. Non è un acquisto che si fa per estetica, ma per la sicurezza, e sotto questo aspetto dà l'impressione di essere un prodotto progettato con grande attenzione ai dettagli. In conclusione, se avete criptovalute e volete gestirle con maggiore tranquillità, questo prodotto rappresenta un investimento sensato.

La version de la clé est tellement vieille. Très compliqué à mettre à jour en aucun support de Ledger. Je ne peux pas mettre à jour sa bloque à la version 1.5.0. Je retourne le produit
