These are great home use free weights! I purchased the weights in 5lb (turquoise-ish blue), 8lb (navy blue) and 10lb (black) and everything matches nicely in weight and colors. The coating makes these easy to handle when you're sweating, and I found the stand to be extremely sturdy and well suited for smaller floor spaces. Please note: some reviews talk about the stand as flimsy and cheap. That was NOT the case for my purchase as I found the pieces of the stand to be very strong and well made. However, the stand is not the easiest to assemble if you don't have a socket wrench handy - the teeny tiny wrenches they provide make the process quite literally painful (especially for your hands!) as there is a lot of tightening you have to do to ensure the stand is stable. Maybe some other reviewers did not know how hard you have to tighten the bolts and therefore thought the stand was filmsy? In their defense, there are no step by step directions provided, just a photo with labels and numbers for you to match up with all the pieces. Not the hardest assembly, but it did take a bit of elbow grease. On the plus side, everything down to the bolts was packaged with care and arrived with no damage or missing pieces. Overall it's a great set with a perfect stand! I would definitely recommend and would purchase again in more sizes.

Excellent small set of weights. Comfortable grip, easy to use, and the holder has maintained them as it should have. Tested the weight on the scale and is as advertised. Great for small spaces and/or for those needed to minimize weight lifting.

Love this set! The stand is super durable and I like the colors. It was SUPER easy to put the stand together. As far as the weights they are good quality and the grip is smooth. They also don't take up much room so perfect for a small space.

The weights are perfect; However, the stand is flimsy and doesn’t sit flat. It’s not hard to put together, but it doesn’t fit together very well. I would buy again because I love the weights. The price is amazing and they serve what I bought them for.

I got these dumbbells so that my family and I can work out, and these serve as a great starter pack for young children and are good for adults that want to tone and build lean muscle. These feel good to the grip, they do not hurt our hands, though we do wish that they allowed for a wider grip for single dumbbell exercises. These serve their purpose and get the job done—good starter pack or for seniors getting their reps in. Also good walking pad weights.

I wanted a set of weights to use in my home during the COVID, as I am not going to my usual gym to work out. And, I certainly would not want to use any that others had used, having to wipe them off or wear plastic gloves. The frame is very sturdy, because they changed the material to metal, which I think is different than what they used to provide for the weights from prior reviews I read. The frame takes a little while to put together, but it is easy to do with the wrenches provided. However, I was not able to easily figure out how you tightened the nuts, bolts and washers enough to get things tight.. So, I just went and got about 32 extra washers to fill in the gaps and that solved the problem for me. Just a 'heads-up" if you experience the same thing. It was an easy fix. This is a great product, and I would definitely buy again.

Great set! The plastic it rests on seems cheap at first (especially during assembly) but for the week that I've had it now, it holds the weights fine. If you're looking for a set of weights that doesn't take up a lot of space this is the set for you!

Work good for exercise

I purchased these weights on amazon when they were on sale for $40. At that price point, I am extremely pleased with my purchase. These weights are brightly colored (easy to identify the three different sizes). They come as two 3 pound dumbbells, two 5 pound dumbbells, and two 8 pound dumbbells. At first I thought that the 3 pound weights would be useless, but I have discovered that they are perfect for me doing side raises etc as my shoulders are pretty unstable and weak. The five and eight pound dumbbells are perfect for beginners or people who don't lift very heavy to work out at home with. I have been using these daily for calisthenics and there are SO many videos online instructing you on different moves to use with these dumbbells to work different body parts. I find that these weights are coated in a fantastic non-slip material. Even when I get very sweaty, these weights are easy to hold onto (especially important when doing moves like skull-crushers - I have no fear of dropping these weights on my head!) The non-slip gets five stars, but I do have to be careful to wash my hands right after or my palms tend to get itchy ( I must have a small allergy or intolerance to the non-slip material). The dumbbell rack is nothing to write home about. It was simple to assemble, came with all required pieces, and works just fine for storing my dumbbells. It is perfectly functional and indiscreet so I like it. This is a great weight set for beginners, but if you're quite strong or looking to get strong, this is not the set for you as the weights only go up to 8 pounds!

Good decent set of weighs. Bought this set to encourage my middle aged parents to start trying some resistance training. They are starting To use it as part of their routine. It’s quite light weights, but it’s a good starting point for me

Love this set. Such good quality and perfect for home workouts.

The dumbbells are fine but the holder is fragile. In my case, it was broken already on delivery unfortunately. A little disappointed.
