Whitmor Folding Garment Rack - Rolling Clothes Hanger - Adjustable Height - Black

Purchase this product 4 years ago, this is my second purchase, the one in the pictures is my first one, the new one is still in the box, l will not have need a new one if my son has not try to clamp on the old one, and now is not sturdy it my fall at any time, it is strong, it hold a lot of clothes, is sturdy, easy to assemble, it does a great job, get it you will not regret it.

I bought this for use at pop-up flea and craft markets I sell at for my clothing business. It's trusty, well sized for a small vendor space and can stand for a whole day! I loved that it was easy to assemble and could fold up in the backseat of my midsize SUV. However, some notes: I wouldn't recommend putting as many clothes as I did on the rack, as it began leaning oddly, especially since so many people came by to shop. I had about 20-25 items hung at any given time, but I think 10-15 max is best. If you need more space, perhaps buy another of these or invest in a heavier-duty rack. Additionally, the connectors/joints will come loose with use. If using at a market, be prepared to hammer them back in. And break it down carefully - if you rush, the frame will fall apart. There are definitely better racks out there (and I may end up switching in the future), but I am happy with the functionality of this rack for the amount I paid.

Works well! I don't understand why reviewers are saying this is unstable and falls apart. It was easy to put together. I made sure all the poles were properly seated and that's all it took. I've had 2 wet bath mats on this and no worries. I've hung 5 pair of wet jeans. I've filled the whole top rack with damp short sleeve buttom down shirts along with a couple trees on the extension pole. I've hung a few buttom downs on only the side extent pole all with no problems tipping or even really leaning. This is a good product. Works for me

This rack looked pretty promising when we first assembled it. We purchased it to use as temporary hanging space while we were enlarging a closet. It seemed sturdy enough for that. But soon after hanging clothes on it, we noticed that it didn't seem to particularly like having clothes hung on it. It was listing. And it kept listing further and further sideways every time we looked at it. It was truly comic. We decided to rearrange the weight of the clothes in hopes of counterbalancing the list, but it soon became clear that nothing was going to stop the Witmor 6021-3081-BB Adjustable Two Rod Garment Rack from continuing on in the direction in which it had made up its mind to go. Fearing that our clothes would soon be on the floor, we pushed some heavy storage boxes against the forward support in order to bolster it, thinking that that would at least keep it reasonably upright. It did...for a couple of days...until we were awoken in the middle of the night by the most unbelievable noises - snapping and pinging and clanging and then, thwack! - followed by total silence. I ran into the room and found an assemblage of clothes, hangers, metal rods, plastic bits and pencils - yes, pencils - on the floor. The pencils had been catapulted out of two pencil jars unlucky enough to be near the Witmor 6021-3081-BB Adjustable Two Rod Garment Rack when its plastic T-joints decided to give up the ghost and reduce the rack to rubble. It was truly one of the funniest sights to behold. So, as I said, good for laughs, but not much more. At least, it was a really good laugh.

I am very happy with my purchase!!! I purchased two (2) of these Whitmor Double Rod Adjustable Garment Racks. I purchased these for two purposes...One for Lost & Found at school (I am a PTA President) and the other for our Spirit Shirt sales. I did not expect these to be a high quality industrial racks by any means (I knew what Ito expect when I purchased this), with that said, these racks are serving their purpose well. They were extremely easy to put together, under 5 minutes. The instructions were very clear and all the parts were clearly labeled in their own clear bags. Like I said, this took under 5 minutes to put together and under 7 for the two that I purchased. Once you put together the first one, the second time around could probably have been done with my eyes closed. I added about 50 pieces of children's sweaters and jackets to the rack and it is withstanding the weight of those. It is easy enough to maneuver with it fully loaded. My recommendation is, if you don't need to break it down in order to conserve space then reinforce the frame somehow, perhaps by drilling a screw into it, etc. The other rack I purchased holds approximately 50 children's - adult 3X size t-shirts and it also holds it weight well. These are proving to be a good purchase and I do recommend this particular rack, if you are looking to save money or don't have the money to spend on a higher quality garment rack. Please note, the children's shirts, jackets, etc. all hang nicely as do the adult sizes but the adult t-shirts, once getting to size Large and above, WILL touch the bottom and possibly touch the floor when using the bottom part of the double garment rack. Also, the top rack only has that one position as shown in the photo. The adjustable areas are the side bars up top. Extra positive are the side bars which extend out, these came in very handy and i LOVE that it has a locking mechanism to keep the bar from retracting!

It was good I’ve had it since 2022but I may have loaded it up a little to much with clothes and the places it connected together didn’t hold up. I didn’t expect it would last this long because of that, but it did if you’re not gonna load it up too much is a great product but if you’re looking for something to hold a lot of clothes, it’s gonna hold up for a little bit, but not a long time other than that it is good.

The quality has exceeded my expectation. Highly recommended.

Please don’t bother buying items that cause inconvenience in your busy life

Hatte schon ultra viele Sachen auf der Stange hängen und immer wieder ein paar Bedenken, dass sie kaputt geht, aber sie ist einfach super stabil, der Wahnsinn! Hat sich nicht mal durchgebogen. Habe sie nun seit ca. 1,5 Jahren, sehr zu empfehlen!

After looking into actual closet organizers I decided to go with this for a fraction of the price. Works perfectly. Top sides extended out to meet both walls. Bought a single rack first for dresses and was so happy with it I had to buy this. Turned my spare room into a walk in closet for $100.
