Awesome cables, will jump start any vehicle or equipment, durable, worth the money.

These jumper cables are of the highest quality. They look sturdy and like they’ll last a lifetime. The cables are long, so it can easily reach another car. I’ve only had to use them once and they worked great. For the quality, I think this is more than a fair price.

For the price ($60 at time of review), this is a nice set of cables. The included carry case fits the cables with enough space that it's possible to get them back in with care. The cables themselves are truly the gauge claimed. Though, they are made with CCA (Copper Clad Aluminum) wire which though a good way to save money, is not very durable and with enough use, those strands will likely start to break. Still, if you're only using these in the occasional emergency, that won't be an issue. The cable clamps are of pretty decent quality. I've seen a lot over the years and these are better than average. They have good clamping force and a good bite. The only other thing that I saw that was odd is that in the middle of the negative cable was an odd bulge. Hopefully, that's just a spot where the insulation was molded odd and not where the wire itself is messed up. Still, I'd recommend these to keep in your vehicle.

I wanted to check this out when it was Sub-Zero to see how flexible it was but I didn't get a chance to. When I did get a chance to check it out it was about 50°. The cable is very flexible at this temperature. I know some jumper cables can become real stiff when it's cold. I don't think that this will be a problem with this one. I thought it might be two different cables but I guess it looks more like it's just the connector, the way it's crimped. The clamps themselves are very strong. I'm not thrilled with the design of the tips of the clamps because very often I struggle with getting a good connection on a side mount battery. The grips themselves are very nice. These may be okay, but I prefer not to have any plastic shroud that might interfere when I'm trying to clamp onto a side mouth battery. Other than that, these look like they're well made. It's a nice kit with the carry pouch. The pouch will keep them organized in the car and takes up little room. These seem to be well made. If I have trouble with the side mount battery, I can trim a little plastic off the one side of the tip of the clamp. I'm pleased to have this set.

I have not done much research as far as cable thickness and the pros about it. I have had and still have cables that are much thinner than this one. So far it has been used a couple of times during this winter season and has worked how it should. I don't know again if the thickness of the cable has been a factor or not. Does give you the feel that is will last and that it is durable. Compared to what I have bought in the past in other big name stores, this one is worth the money. The function is great and has not let me down so far. Wouldn't hurt to have one of these in your car. Better to have it for those just in case moments. Highly recommended.

Heavy Duty HIGH Quality jump cable set.When I say Heavy Duty, I want to emphasize "HEAVY". There is definitely some weight to this set...And a full 25' set is awesome. No more fighting to get cars aligned close enough to each other to make those short cables sets reach.And his cable is more like welding cable with clamps on the end instead of an electrode holder...I've always been a fan of Nilight products, and this is one reason why.....

These are the last jumper cables that you will ever buy. They are of a generous length, have heavy wire capable of good electricity transfer, and the clamps look like that they could last forever. They even come with s storage bad, which keeps them good looking, clean and tidy while they're hanging around waiting to be used. If you've ever fished out cables from under a bunch of stuff in your trunk and found that one of the cheap clamps had become disconnected from that skinny wire..... and you have to fix it before you can use it.....on the side of the road......in the rain......while your family watches and the good Samaritan that offered hiid battery for a jump starts looking like he wants to leave......then these cables are for you.

This is a really nice heavy duty set of jumper cables and much more than I was expecting considering the price. The cables are nice and long making it that much easy to connect 2 cars together no matter how they are parked. The clamps are rugged, well insulated with solid crimp connections to the 1 gauge cable between them. Even though the cable is such a heavy gauge wire it still coils up without much effort and easily fits back in the storage bag. That may seems like a small thing, but all too often I have found that storage bags only work if you can coil up the cables exactly the same as they were originally packaged. Also the pair of gloves is a nice extra since the cables can get a little dirty once they end up on the ground and it's great to be able to offer someone a jump and still be able to keep your hands clean.
