I DEW CARE Tap Secret Mattifying Dry Shampoo Powder - Medium Brown 0.24 oz

I cannot say enough great things about this product itself. It works great! It's a fabulous dry shampoo that also covers grays and fills in sparser spots on the scalp. It's a true med. brown that DOES NOT pull red. Hard to find in my opinion. It literally does the job of 2 products. The packaging leaves a little to be desired. You need a doctorate to figure out what side to actually open the product. I'm not sure why that part is so deceiving even when following the instructions perfectly. I like many others, made the mistake of opening the wrong side and getting the powder all over the place. I was however graceful about opening the wrong side, so it was fixable and I didn't waste too much product. I should take off at least a star for the packaging... but it's just that good. The little sponge applicator is fabulous. As a light-medium brunette... this is the only dry shampoo I will use going forward. Super, super impressed by this little powder.

I was excited to use this brown colored powder after using the normal white one, thinking it would be easier to blend in. I like that they had a shade of brown that matched my hair perfectly (a little cooler, ashy tone) and it did indeed blend in. The downside is... anytime I touched my hair, my fingers came away looking smudged in soot. While rubbing the powder in with my fingertips like usual (the puff only does so much), I was thankfully near a sink and could wash my hands fully with soap. But throughout the day, I'd glance at my hands and see suddenly dirty fingernails (from the powder) and start looking at my work headphones to see if any powder had transferred. I do like the color and it's a great idea in theory, but in practice I'd need to be near a sink periodically and check my belongings and face for soot.

I have tried a LOT of dry shampoos. Spray cans. Powders. I prefer the powder and it works better for me but one was never just right. My last one would just get all over me and my clothing and leave a white cast. My hair is dark brown and I’m 44 so it made me look more gray than I am. So I saw the good reviews ans tried this. I use this only on my bangs and sometimes my roots where my center part or side part is. Not all over. So keep that in mind. No white cast. Since it’s brown it matches in perfectly. Only needed two dabs for my bangs and two for my roots. My bangs look fresh washed even being out walking in southern heat and humidity. Just perfect. Now it does def leave your hair not crunchy? But more stiff. For my bangs and how I use it that doesn’t matter. But if you were to use this all over you would def have hair more stiff. For my needs it’s absolutely perfect. Pricey for what it is but one of those items that works so well I’ll pay it NP.

I really like the product, but the colors are completely inconsistent when you order them. I ordered a blonde and was good. I ordered a second blonde. It’s completely a different color I thought I’d try medium brown and it’s really dark. Can you help me with these orders and the colors

Very disappointed with this product. This powder does nothing for my greasy hair. And it's being powder form is not the issue, because the Acure dry shampoo powder works amazingly. This product somewhat helped with greasiness but it also left a strange residue on my hair. Almost wax like. It feels like my hair is super greasy but it doesn't look that greasy. But it doesn't look better than before I applied it. The only aspect I liked was how it made parts of my hair appear fuller, but that effect did not last long. Much better off using dry shampoo spray from TJ maxx than this crap.

Look, this stuff is excellent. I cannot believe it’s real. I’ve been thinking up ways to make some baking soda or corn starch COLORED . & LOOK HERE IT IS!!!

I saw this had glowing reviews from someone I follow on IG. Love the small packaging, it’s not aerosol, etc. It did make my hair a little stiffer than I anticipated, not soft and smooth, but it did help cut the grease. However the packaging is a nightmare. I assumed there would be like a little sieve to distribute the product better on the applicator but there wasn’t. So the powder got everywhere. The next time I tried to be more diligent but it was almost worse. All over my hands, my face, the floor. And it doesn’t easily clean up. After 3 tries I had had enough and threw it away. Maybe it was user error but the box had no helpful information for product application.

I really love this Dry shampoo. Some dry shampoos you have to apply sometimes twice a day but this one I can use it and be good for 2-3 days. The trick is you have to use it when your hair is starting to get oily, if you use when it’s already oily it won’t really work too well. Bonus… I bought it with the color of my hair and it covers my grays better than some of the actual gray coverage powders and sprays and it lasts longer too. My hair doesn’t feel to producty and it don’t look like I have product in it.

Small container, but well marked and because unusual, I read instructions. Lol I like the bit of colour tint as it colours the gray peeking through at roots. It was easy to apply, NOT messy squirting or horrible spray that makes you cough and probably causes cancer. And it did what I wanted it to do! Win win

Very messy. As far a the dry shampoo feeling goes it's one of the more ick ones. The color blends nice in the hair and removes the greasy look however I'm not sure if it's worth it

Positive - hair looked less oily and the medium brown blended with my hair colour Negative - hair felt stiff and coarse, straw like - messy, you’ll end up with dirt steaks on your face, hairline, and hands - am I supposed to wash my hair at night? Kind of defeats the purpose. How else do people avoid getting it on their pillows? - hair was oily the next day. Other brands I’ve used can handle another no wash day - my scalp is really itchy…if I scratch my finger nails look dirty.

The original of this product works well, but the medium brown just couldn't absorb the same way. I bought more of the original and it doesn't look white in my almost black hair. I wish there was a refill instead of having to buy the container over and over again.

It does what its suppose to but there are many cons. -when you scratch or touch your hair you hands go brown -dont use it if its raining or brown will start dripping down your face -Makes hair feel super thick and in a nice way -takes a while to wash out The white one is better
