These willies are just what I needed while digging the foundations for a house. In wet and muddy conditions, they perform very well indeed, I haven't slipped once yet but I have got the left boot stuck once (though I was five meters down in the north London clay at the time). As they are steel capped and midsoled, they are undoubtedly more heavier than non-safety versions so you must ask yourself what attributes are more important for you. If you need willies for walking a dog or seeing to a farm or stables, get the non-safety version as they will provide greater wearing endurance. If you are building or moving heavy material, get these.I bought the Vital V12 Ground Worker Wellington Boots VW250 as a back up and they are equally as good

I ordered my normal shoe size, they fit ok, if slightly large to compensate for you wearing thick woolen socks with them. So if you are ordering a pair bear that in mind in case you are tempted to buy the next size up,they may be too large to wear.

You can always rely on Dunlop to do what it says on the tin. Inexpensive, comfortable with thick socks wellie. I can now go to my allotment and sort my chickens knowing my feet will remain dry.

These boots are great for working in a hot brewery. Size is a bit big but I knew this so ordered a size smaller than usual and they fit perfectly

ordered a size smaller and were still way too big. Top is also massive - makes them easy to put on but stuff is going to fall in while you're wearing them.Cost of posting them back was as much as the refund so just binned them.

The shoe sizes are very big
