We installed 2 of these awnings: one on each side of our Bontrager 12ROK travel trailer. They look and function exactly as described by Overland Vehicle Systems on their website and in their YouTube videos. These are heavy-duty awnings. I estimate that they weigh about 60 lbs each. Useful to know if you can't use the included metal brackets for your installation: (we couldn't) - The bolts that attach awning to RV are stainless steel M8-1.25 x 25 mm hex head (you could use any M8 hex head bolt if you need a different length for your application) - The bolt heads slide into two tracks (upper and lower) which are 4-1/2” apart We have found the awnings easy to use and effective for shade and rain protection.
