Recently on a kick with these small RC toys, quite frankly they are quite entertaining. Don't judge me too harshly taking a video and trying to navigate a kitchen and hallway at the same time is quite the trick! Once getting used to the controls it has become easier to use. It is withstanding the abuse of me bumping into things. The remote is pretty easy to figure out, and the battery life is decent. They provide 2 that last for nearly an hour a piece. I think for the price point you get decent functionality and you gain ability to fly it. It does give you a taste if you would want to take this into another level. Definitely fun, and I would recommend to others if for anything to put a smile on your face and kids face during the cold winter months.

It flies great, is stable, easy to control, and flies and lands smoothly. You can tell it’s durable enough to handle a few bumps and crashes, which is great because it won’t break easily. It comes with everything you need to get started, including two rechargeable batteries for the helicopter (plus the charging cable) and extra rotor blades. All you’ll need are 3 AAA batteries for the remote. The build quality is impressive, and it's suitable for all ages, making it a fantastic gift. Definitely worth the value and so much fun!

I was thrilled with the "Chopper" to start with, Easy to fly, very responsive, nice to look at and an extra battery to keep the fun going. It was everything as promised in the write-up. Then, after just 30 days, it literally quit working. The controls went goofy and the copter does not respond at all to the control unit. Now past the return date so just cannot recommend this to anyone. UPDATE: I found that my TV was interfering with the control signal and when TV was turned off - we regained full control of the copter. Very pleasant surprise and enjoying bugging Grandma with the prop wash again.

This is an update: I normally do not write negative reviews but I feel a need to express my disappointment with this product and my experience with the lack of customer support. It all started fine and I was enjoying flying the helicopter, until a week after the 30 day return window. When I started it, it shot straight up and hit my ceiling sending popcorn all over my living room carpet and crashed straight back down. It jerked a couple of times and quit. I had absolutely no control over what it was doing. I know these things can happen, but here's where my real beef with the company lies (BTW, I did go online and register the product). First, I could not find a phone number to call, all the communication is through online chat or email. Well, after many days and multiple tries where I was asked to repeat my problem and repeat my email, I've not heard anything back from the company. So, it looks like I'm out the money spent, and lesson learned. Sad, because I bought this item based on reviews of the product and company ratings. I will update this review if anything changes. This little helicopter surprised me in the best way. It’s lightweight, easy to control, and perfect for anyone who wants to play without the frustration of a steep learning curve. I love that it holds its altitude well and comes with two batteries so I actually get a decent amount of flight time. It’s not meant for wild outdoor wind or extreme tricks, but for indoor flying or calm backyard fun, it performs beautifully. Honestly, it’s one of those toys you start “testing” and suddenly realize you’ve been flying for 30 minutes with a big grin on your face.

SIMREX's Helicopter is a load of fun and it doesn't break the bank. Lightweight and easy to control, we used it with my wife's 5 year old grandson and he had a ball with it. This is the perfect gift for anyone who enjoys remote controlled vehicles. The copter can fly at a high speed and it ascends rapidly. The first time we flew it the copter just took off because we clearly did not practice enough. Despite landing in the grass, the helicopter was no worse for the wear. Definitely a great toy for a younger child who is mature and would be a fun gift for young adults and adults of all ages. After you play for a bit you get more used to how it flies and your fun time increases dramatically. I wholeheartedly recommend this SIMREX remote controlled helicopter.

Bought this for rainy days. The altitude hold is not a great feature when your use to controlling it but controls and flying were easy enough. Returned no issues. I'll stick with the helis with more channels. It works be great for a early beginner just to get there head wrapped around the concept.

Appareil qui refuse de voler, malgré toutes mes tentatives , changement de batteries etc... Les hélices tournent un peu puis tout s'arrête. MAJ 01/25 : s'il est bien marqué "retour gratuit" en description du produit, cette démarche s'est avérée bien compliquée puisque les frais de port restaient à charge. Le vendeur étant absolument injoignable, c'est finalement amazon qui m'a remboursé intégralement. Bravo au service client !

Flight time is genuinely impressive. With the two rechargeable batteries, you get around 20 minutes of flying, which is loads more than I expected. It means the kids actually get to enjoy it rather than spending half of the time waiting for it to charge again. Indoors, it’s spot-on. It hovers nicely, doesn’t feel twitchy, and the signal stays stable without any weird jumps or dropouts. Outdoors is where you start to see the limits.
