These lights are literally like night and day compared to a regular lightbulb. I bought them for the wife for her “She shed” I think I’m gonna buy some for my shop as well. They really light up the area.

Strips burn out quick.

These lights are absolutely great. I needed something thin and light to hang from a storage shelf over a garage door. I have a small woodworking shop and wanted more light in the corner I do finishing in. I mounted them to a 1/2 inch piece of plywood in their hex shape and they provide great lighting to my projects. I think the look is also fantastic, it classes up the shop more than the couple of shop lights I had up there before.Materials wise they seem high quality given the light weight. They will not be needing to put up with a beating given their function. That said the materials still seem robust, the click together quite easily into the brackets too making installation a breeze. Size wise they were spot in in the claimed measurements, I fit it on a 6 foot by 4 foot board.Given the small premium over some of the cheaper hex lights (which I have had bad experiences of them not lining up) I think this is worth the modest premium to go name brand on with these HyperLite branded ones.I also got another one of these kits, the single kit and it is likewise fantastic. I wanted some light over the gym part of my garage, and it provides great light for a power tower.

These are the best lights ever for a garage. Quick to install, very bright for even working light, and low power usage.I do like how configurable these are. With this kit you can get a little more flexible with the amount of light bars it comes with, however, note that it only comes with 1 power cord so if your design is not all connected you will need to figure out your power for your second design. The easy design is as pictured, the two hexagons put together and everything is powered with 1 cord.The kit does come with 3 wire nuts but to be honest i'm not sure why, I guess if you need to splice the power cord to make it longer. Even then this is only 2 wires so still an extra one.With 1 hexagon its easy to install on a ceiling yourself, however, with 2 Its just a little too much and you'd risk bending something too far and breaking it so you might ask for a second set of hands.As for actually connecting it to your wall/ceiling it couldn't be easier. They include zip ties if you have something to snug it like that or screws with anchors. These are VERY light though so just about anything would keep these things in place.Overall awesome lights. 4 hexagons over a 2-car garage is perfect.

I installed these in my basement garage to replace some older LED lighting and couldn't be happier.Pros:- Installation is really simple. If you have drywall on your ceiling each connector just screws right in, if you have studs like mine you use a combination of screws (where they line up with the studs) and provided clear zip ties.- These are BRIGHT. I may buy a controller to allow dimming them, as with low ceilings like mine you're looking right into the lights at times. These put out super clean, white light.- Setup is flexible. You can install the LED bars and connectors in whatever pattern you like.Cons:- The only negative I have is I would like to see a connector that clips on to the back of the LED bar for installing. The older LEDs this replaced had connectors that screw into the ceiling, and then the LED bar just clips in place. This makes it easier to swap out LEDs if they go bad but is also much cleaner than using zip ties on a ceiling like this.
