Great Concept!
Great camera. No issues with image quality. Fits well and easily mounts on top of my monitor. I don't use the mic capabilities as I have a Rode mic instead, but love the 'eye contact' concept and am able to put the camera right where my PowerPoint previews are, so I'm looking right at the audience as I reference my notes. Unlike my experience with Logitech, the control app works well, and I can control zoom and other settings. Expensive, but the quality is there and I've had no issues.

Pluses and minuses
I originally purchased this webcam a few weeks ago and it performed well for about a week and a half and then it stopped working. I thought perhaps the issue was with the usb c cable so I switched it out and it still didn’t work. I even plugged the usb into the wall outlet to see if that was the trouble but it didn’t remedy the issue. I will say that icontact has excellent customer service and they were happy to exchange it for one that worked. I have yet to try it out though fingers crossed. It should be noted that there are two versions of this webcam, both priced the same. One has a usb port on the unit (the original one I purchased) and the other one that I currently own is fixed to the body. Customer service said the fixed version is more stable so I am hopeful that I won’t have any additional issues. Also, know that the unit is somewhat fragile, particularly the arm that swings down. And, the light indicator doesn’t always work but it doesn’t mean the camera is not functioning well. Aside from these issues the video is stable and lighting and quality are good. I know others have complained about video quality but I didn’t run into this issue. I also noticed that the camera doesn’t always align with a person’s face but this is due to the location of their face on the screen. It would be highly beneficial if the arm could adjust up and down to compensate for head position. Finally, others have complained about the camera tilting away from the screen. By adjusting how the device is attached to your computer it no longer maintains this issue. I am hopeful that I won’t have to return this one though if I do I will write another review.

Finally, a webcam that solves the eye contact problem
I spend most of my day on video calls and this camera completely changed how I show up on screen. The eye contact correction is genuinely impressive. I can look at my screen, read notes, or glance at the chat and it still looks like I'm making direct eye contact with the person I'm talking to. People have actually commented that I seem more engaged and present in meetings since I started using it.The 4K image quality is sharp and clean. Colors look natural, not blown out or overly saturated like some webcams I've tried. Low light performance is solid too. My home office doesn't have the best lighting and I still look clear without that grainy washed out look you get from cheaper cameras.Setup was plug and play. No drivers, no fiddling with settings just to get a decent picture. It worked immediately with Zoom, Google Meet, and Slack huddles without any issues. The build quality feels premium and the mount is sturdy enough that it sits securely on my monitor without sliding around. It's a small thing but after dealing with flimsy webcam clips in the past, I appreciate it.If you do any amount of video calling for work, this is worth every dollar. The eye contact feature alone justifies the price. Everything else is just a bonus.

Good enough to keep, but lacking
I like that the camera is compact and drops down to eye level. I have a larger monitor and so it was nice having an option specifically for that. The price was reasonable, but the value was overshadowed by several disappointments. The bummers:1. The frame rate is not very good. When I move, such as gesturing with my hands, the image becomes blurry and trails behind.2. The camera can zoom in, but it cannot zoom out. I have to sit too far back to fit natural hand gestures into the frame, then move closer whenever I need to use the keyboard. (Auto focus is disabled, zoom is 0% and can't be disabled)3. The sound quality suffers when I sit farther away, which makes the overall experience feel clunky. I ended up buying a lapel microphone to address the audio issue.4. The description mentions USB but does not clearly explain that the camera uses USB-C 3.2. This created unnecessary compatibility confusion, and I had to purchase an adapter. The adapter supports 5 Gbps, which should be more than enough for 4K video.5. The included USB-C 3.2 cable is far too short. It was not long enough to reach my computer tower, even though the tower sits directly below my desk at floor level.6. The overall image quality seems acceptable, but the focus does not appear to prioritize the person in front of the camera. When I sit farther back, I become blurry. The focus seems progressive across the entire image rather than locking onto the human subject.7. The instructions rely on a QR code, but it is printed so small that my iPhone could not read it.8. There is an app for configuring the camera, but the package instructions do not clearly identify it. I had to search separately to find the correct app.9. The app itself has a non-standard interface. It appears to be accessible only through the system tray, and when it loses focus, the window disappears. I then have to return to the tray to bring it back. This made the configuration process feel unnecessarily clunky.I wanted to like this camera because of its compact design and eye-level positioning, but these limitations made it more frustrating and expensive to use than expected. I'm keeping it, however, because of the camera dropdown feature which allows me to maintain eye contact.

Work as advertised… excellent Product!
Works excellent as advertised! Would love for it though to have zoom out capability. But other than that, excellent product!

WORST BUY EVER !!!
I strongly recommend reading reviews before purchasing this product. Unfortunately, this has been one of my worst purchases on Amazon.1. The camera arrived in an open, dirty box — definitely not new.2. There is visible dust under the lens, which affects image quality.3. It doesn't work with Google Meet or Zoom — the camera simply doesn't display anything.4. The software constantly prompts for an update, but nothing happens when I click it.5. Overall, very dissatisfied with this product. Feels like a cheap piece of plastic with no proper quality control.

Eye Contact is Clever, But Everything Else Falls Short
For a webcam in the $150–$200 range, I expected a lot more. The eye contact feature is a neat gimmick, and it does make video calls feel a bit more natural—but that’s where the praise ends. The picture quality is just average—nothing impressive for this price point. More disappointing is the complete lack of an indicator light to show when the camera is on. That’s a basic privacy and usability feature I expect even from budget webcams. The biggest deal breaker? There’s no auto-rotate sensor. If you flip the camera to the “up” position, it doesn’t automatically adjust—the image just stays sideways unless you go into your computer settings and manually rotate it. Before buying, I contacted the customer service team and was told it would enter “off mode” when flipped up. That’s simply not true.Nice concept, but ultimately it’s overpriced and underdelivers. Not worth the hype.

Ease of use and quality of product
I've been searching for a way to feel more present and connected during my numerous Zoom and conference calls, and the iContact camera has absolutely delivered! From the moment I unboxed it, I was impressed by the simple and intuitive setup. Seriously, it was plug-and-play in the truest sense of the word. Within minutes, I had it connected and was ready to go. No complicated drivers or frustrating software installations – a huge win for someone like me who just wants things to work seamlessly. The video quality is also excellent – clear, crisp, and with good color reproduction. I've received compliments on how clear I look, which is always a nice bonus. While the improved eye contact is the standout feature, the solid video performance definitely adds to the overall positive experience.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
I’m really impressed with this webcam. I work from home and have a lot of video calls, so good image quality is essential — and this camera delivers perfectly. The picture is clear, the colors look natural, and the light correction works great even on cloudy days.My older son also uses it for his streaming, and it performs just as well for him.Overall, a great purchase for both work and creative use

DONT BUY
DONT BUY. The product was clearly used before. There was dust on the lens and the protective sticker was partly removed and dusty. The image quality is also not 4k.

Happy purchase
I felt silly spending this much on a camera but I've enjoyed it so far. It has food customization options for audio and video and the design is very clever. It's good the camera itself is so small so it rarely blocks what's on the screen.
