I set this bulb up in a standard lamp for some houseplants that struggle for natural light, and the results have been great. The 4000K light gives off a pleasant, natural warmth rather than that harsh purple glow you get with cheaper options. Thanks to the lens design, it throws a really good, even beam over several pots at once. The build quality is very solid, and it arrived well packed in protective foam. It is very bright, so you will want to position it carefully so it does not dazzle you in the evening. It does not come with a built-in timer, but plugging it into a smart plug solves that easily. It is slightly dearer than generic bulbs, but the quality is well worth it for keeping plants healthy year round.

Wow - this really is a high-quality grow light bulb! You can tell it's well-made as soon as you take it out of the box, as it is visually impressive and solid in build. Arriving so well-packaged for delivery, this is very easy to screw straight into a light setting and therefore have working in no time at all. The brightness of the light is just superb and exactly what I need for my indoor plants. I will admit that on first glance, that price tag seems a little high, but in this case you get exactly what you pay for - perfection! This is the perfect light for setting up on your own timer and leaving for a good 10 hours or so each day. I am extremely impressed with the bulb and indeed the brand and wouldn't hesitate to recommend and indeed buy from this company again.
