I had one of these when my kids were infants and bought one for each of my adult children when the started having kids. Great to take to a restaurant when your little one wants to eat what you are. Easy to clean, easy to pack, easy to use. Lasts for several years.

So great and east to use, easy to clean, I actually use this for prescription wet cat food that is very grainy and a pain to mash up. This puree maker/food mill does the job super easily, taking an annoying task into a much more reasonable one. I am much happier with this whole process!

Love it. I love that it makes puree a lot easier. I do veggies, fruits, and meat. Sometimes the meat gets stuck and I have to manually remove it from the grinder area but it’s not too bad. Wish it wasn’t plastic Re-attaching the grinder to the unit is a little tricky but you get the hang of it. I take it with me to restaurants.

ok, We own an old "happy baby" brand food mill. It's basically the same design. The happy baby mill is not sold anymore. So, we bought one of these green sprouts mills as a back up just in case our old one breaks. Here's the deal. Whoever designed this new green version basically took everything good about the happy baby mill and made it worse. 1. It's big and clunky compared to the Happy Baby Grinder. 2. The holes in the metal "grill" are few and far between compared to the happy baby grinder. (because of this you are basically pushing the food into a wall with a few holes in it rather than through a grid of holes. this makes pushing it really hard unless you're trying to grind something thats already super soft like apple sauce) 3. The blade that rotates on the underside of the grill is not flush with the metal grill so it doesn't effectively "cut" the food but just stirs it round and round as you try to press the food through the holes. This helps to contribute to the difficulty in pressing the food through. (the happy baby grinder works more like a scissors cutting the food between the blade and the grill) 4. and lastly this one leaks through the bottom while you are pressing down even though it feels tighter than the HB mill. So sadly even though this looks a lot like the one that works, they've actually engineered it to not work near as well.

I should have saved my money. I have a hard time grinding the last 1/4 inch because it becomes too difficult to push down while grinding. I can never remove the handle and grinder easily to wash. I now keep a small hex wrench near by to unlock the blade and handle from the body. I owned one in the past that held a smaller volume, but I never had difficulty grinding the food nor taking apart to wash.

Some things never get old. I used one of these in the 70’s with our kiddos. Just purchased one for my soon to be great grandchild. We rarely purchased baby food. Used this to feed baby whatever we had thus introducing them to “real foods” and flavor. Simply added liquid until the consistency I wanted. Love this!

I bought this to make pate out of senior cat food that isnt smooth enough for my cat. It was a perfect solution. I love it and so does my senior cat

Lo compré par mi nieta. pero los he usado este tipo de molinos para baby desde hace 28 años con mis hijos y siempre super práctico.

A real solid compact food mill that is so useful for parents on the run and helping bubs join in at the family dinner. We had simliar food mills years ago ( like 30 yrs!) and Green Sprouts have made feed time a breeze now. Simply add a portion of the family dinner into the food mill and dinner is served the way you want to feed your bubs. We've done roast chicken and lamb with vegies and gravy... our kids and grandkids love it.

Performs perfectly, I love it. Only one issue, the label ink runs when you wash it in warm water.
