Worked great
Used them to separate the lights under the counter in the kitchen. Can turn each one or both on together then turn then off separately or both together without having to plug or unplug them. SO easily to attach them!

The battery cover design sucks, but overall a good product
I really like the functionality of these once you get the battery in. They're easy to setup and don't require a convoluted WiFi system like some do. I only have two issues with it. My biggest complaint is that the battery cover is super difficult to get off. But once you finally do get it off and get the battery installed, they work great. My other complaint is that I can't buy the outlets separate from the switch. Why are there 3 on/off buttons if you can only get two outlets with it?

Very Good Quality
I bought a desk lamp but the remote control didn't work. It's a great lamp, I wanted to keep it, so I got this and it works great.

You get what you pay for.
I use this devise to activate LED lights on the ceiling in my garage. The base is plugged into a ceiling outlet which is shared with garage door opener. In the past, I had pull chains to switch the lights on and off. This is so much better.Positive: It is a great idea, inexpensive, looks nice and it does what it's supposed to do. As usual, Amazon shipped quickly and the product was well packaged with no damage.Negative: The battery cover is poorly designed. It has a slot for a coin to open it, but it isn't deep enough nor centered. There is an extremely small detent on the cover that you are instructed to press with your thumb while turning the cover with a coin that doesn't fit the poorly shaped slot. I used a small screwdriver to push the detent, but you almost need 3 hands to get at the battery. It shouldn't have to be this difficult. The wall mounting plate has 2 halves that must be separated for installation. I found it very difficult to get them apart. Again, it shouldn't have to be this difficult. As for the operation, the outlet turns on okay with the remote remaining in the wall plate. But it will not turn off unless i remove the remote and aim it at the base. Not a big deal, but after getting my hands dirty working in the garage, I would rather just touch the button with my cleanest finger than have to handle the remote with my dirty hands. If I paid a lot for this, I would rate it a 3. But since it was cheap, it gets a 4.

Functional Set
This remote switch and two outlets look and feel decently made. It is designed for indoor use. The outlet is rated at 15A/1875W. Pairing the remote control with the two remote plugs can be tricky sometimes. If you are not careful, a command to one plug can easily activate the other plug too. If this happens, you need to follow the steps in the “Clear Remote Control Pairing” paragraph to delete the pairing, then you can go through the pairing function again. It should be noted that when an electrical device is rated at 15 amps, we should not connect devices that draw 15 amps, especially when using them for a long time. Since the safety margin is about 20 to 30% below the rated amperage, we should use loads that draw less than 12 amps. The advertised maximum remote range of this wireless system “supports distance control of 200 feet. With the help of a laser measuring tool, I tested it standing outside of my house, with my wife staying inside, assisting me over the phone. The outlet and the remote control are separated by a double door and a wall with a 58.5-inch opening. It works fine up to 56 feet, which includes 19 feet indoors and 37 feet outdoors, which is much less than its advertised 200-foot range. This remote control is certified by the following organizations, which means it is safe to use.• ETL (Electrical Testing Laboratories), which certifies that this product complies with necessary safety standards required by North American safety regulation. ELT is the certification division of Intertek Testing Laboratories.• FCC (Federal Communications Commission), which certifies that the radio frequency of this product does not cause harmful interference. This remote control outlet plug performs well. However, a remote control powered by a 3V button battery (CR2032) that claimed to have a 200-foot operational range is questionable. When I tested it, it stopped communicating at 56 feet. And for that, it gets a 3-star rating.
