Edit: Fan Noise After some extended use the fan has gotten louder. It still comes and goes like a wave but has on several occasions remained constant in the metallic rattling sound. I have contacted customer service and submitted videos of the issue. After some back and forth I was informed that is normal operation within spec and given the solution to "just turn up my volume" - this projector no longer suits my use case and I will have to purchase a different one - If fan noise is not an issue I still recommend and stand by my review below as everything else has been great. After a couple of years abusing my Yaber Pro V7 projector with nightly use I was in need of an upgrade. Now, it’s easy to spend well over 1k dollars on a really good projector, but I don’t have that kind of budget. The real challenge is finding a quality projector for under $500 so with an extensive search and seeing some familiar ones I’ve considered previously, I found this top rated projector. After reading some of the reviews I decided to give the WIMIUS K9 a try. I’m reviewing this after almost 2 weeks of owning it and I’m truly impressed. To be honest, I wasn’t expecting to be this happy with it. What stood out to me initially was the ease of setup. I use a Roku device so all I needed to do was connect to my WiFi and I was ready to go. But I think it’s really cool that the WIMIUS K9 comes preloaded with apps to stream. I also use a Bose Soundbar connected via Bluetooth so I don’t need to use the included speaker but during my initial setup I did test it out and it was better than expected. If I didn’t already have my Soundbar I think I would be fine using it. The Bluetooth connection is LIGHTNING FAST and stable with no noticeable sound sync lag. Picture quality has completely surpassed my expectations for a unit in this price point. Sharp image that is rich in color and deeper black point than I’ve experienced with previous projectors - and this was just on the default factory setting! Also the Auto focus and Auto Keystone ensures the best possible picture every time you turn it on. There are plenty of controls to dial in your picture quality and their presets do a good job as well. I use projectors in my bedroom mostly at night with limited use in the day. I say limited because I have a skylight that I can not cover to make the room completely dark and previous projectors got really washed out. The WIMIUS K9 is making daytime viewing a bit more possible. I’m not saying I recommend it, but If it’s a sick day or a lazy day, I can stay in bed and watch instead of transferring to the living room TV like before. At night or in dark setting this thing is fantastic and since I usually fall asleep watching, it’s important for me to have a relatively quiet operating unit. Some projectors are so loud that it’s not possible to sleep and my last one was quiet in comparison, but this is my most valued feature of the WIMIUS K9 - the fan is QUIET - this is the quietest projector I’ve ever encountered. Yes, it is the best one yet… but it’s not perfect. During the setup I encountered a screen to accept Updates and Data Collection which made me a little uneasy. But after viewing additional details I was able to accept only the Automatic Updates and continue. An update was needed and it went smoothly. I may choose to disconnect the projector from my WiFi just in case and reconnect occasionally for update check. The air filter screen on the side I found a bit difficult to remove and this will be something needed to do regularly for maintenance. The fan, while quiet in overall operation tends to change in tone and is in a wave pattern with a little ratchety sound, similar to how a bathroom vent fan that needs replacing sounds, but MUCH quieter and is only noticeable when no volume is on. Check out my pictures and video showing some of the things I mentioned in my experience to get a better idea. Overall I couldn’t be happier with the purchase. This is a quality projector at an affordable price making it a truly great value.

This projector looks neat and has some contemporary Vibes to it. You can change the screen size based on its distance to the scree, the further apart the bigger the screen. Pros: High Resolution: The native 1080p resolution ensures sharp and clear images, making it perfect for outdoor movie nights or presentations. Upscaling to 4K: The ability to upscale content to 4K enhances the viewing experience, delivering more detailed and vibrant visuals, especially when viewing high-definition content. Bright Image: With 700 ANSI lumens, this projector produces a bright image even in outdoor settings, allowing for enjoyable viewing experiences during daylight or in partially lit environments. Versatile Connectivity: Offering various connectivity options such as HDMI, USB, and wireless capabilities (IOS and Android devices), this projector can easily connect to different devices like laptops, streaming devices, gaming consoles, and smartphones, enhancing its versatility. Inbuilt Apps: Netflix, YouTube and Amazon Prime video is inbuilt so all you have to do is login to your account and you have tons on content there. Cons: Limited Contrast Ratio: While the projector's resolution and brightness contribute to image quality, a limited contrast ratio may result in slightly less vibrant colors and less-defined blacks, especially noticeable in darker scenes. Requires Darker Settings for Best Performance: Despite its brightness, outdoor projectors typically perform best in darker environments. In well-lit outdoor areas or under direct sunlight, the image quality may be diminished, affecting the viewing experience. App Store: The App Store is decent but would have loved to see more daily used apps including sports apps in built. Overall I am very satisfied with the product and would highly recemmend whether it is for indoors or outdoors.

Al parecer a mí me llegó uno devuelto porque se veía en el control un poco de uso y al meterme a Netflix ya tenía una cuenta vinculada. La resolución y la calidad de video que tiene el proyector es sumamente buena, aún con un poco de luz indirecta se ve muy bien la imagen. Cuando está totalmente a oscuras es excelente la calidad. Me gusta el autoenfoque y su ajuste automático también es bastante bueno, muy cómodo y práctico. Igualmente en el control remoto que es muy intuitivo y tiene para enfocarlo desde el mismo. Trae un aparato extra (por lo menos el que me llegó) con el que puedes retransmitir tu celular en vivo y es bastante bueno, obviamente tiene un poco de delay con el celular, pero si estás viendo una película o videos el audio no se desfasa y sin problemas. El sonido sí deja mucho que desear honestamente, pero con algún teatro en casa o barra de sonido no hay ningún problema, ya que se enlaza súper fácil. No me gusta que no tenga la aplicación de MAX (antes HBO), y tampoco funciona la aplicación de Disney, pero conectándole algún stick o algún aparato con las aplicaciones tampoco tendrás gran problema. Únicamente por los “defectos” o “faltas” que le encuentro, no le pongo 5 estrellas, por todo lo demás, estoy encantado con el proyector.
