Got this for my bro that is in the Army and he loved it, because it made his shoe shine and did not crack. He aced his inspection.

I'm sorry to see the KIWI brand pass into history. But I was happy to see that parade gloss black is still being made. This stuff has been with me through 4 years in the nation's oldest private military university, 15 years in the Army, a 20 year career in the Fortune 500, and all of my casual life. It works. Fantastic shine in minutes.

I like the way this polish do my shoes

I have used this size can of black shoe polish to polish black combat boots as needed for over 55 years and actually pushing pretty close to 60. It has been the same good polish forever. I have a very fine shoe brush that brings out a good brush shine once the polish dries. I have spit shine toes and heels if not the whole boot using this stuff. I don’t want anything else so I have never looked to see if they have any wannabe competition. I don’t know any Soldiers who use anything other than Kiwi.

It's a tried and true brand, with a quality that stands the test of time. No, it's not saphir, and no you won't be able to see the piece of broccoli in your teeth from the reflection of your toe box, but it will give you a great shine and that's why the brand has been around for so long. It works, is basically idiot proof, and it's affordable.

My son uses this brand only. Very very hard to find.....wish I could reorder. Have not been able to find it anywhere

It's amazing that this is no longer available in stores when there's no real replacement for it-- this is the standard, and doesn't have any real competitors that I've found
