Golden Combination!
I have bought 4 Billy Blanks dvds but I think this one along with Vol.2 are the best.I'm in my late 20s, I'm working 12 hours a day and have very little time in my hands. I am no gym freak and from what I have read I'm about 6 pounds more than I should weigh. But I maintain a healthy diet and the only thing I can't seem to resist to is anything sweet.So this dvd gives you a golden combination: you can do it anytime you want, you can speed the exercises up if you want to, the exercises are easy to catch and what particularly motivates you is the people who are aged from say 35 to 75 and can DO this program to the very end. Plus, Billy Blanks is an uplifting guy and shows you practical tips on how to perform the exercises well. In the end you actually feel good about what you have done. All the sweat is actually worth it cause you exercise your whole body.I've done this about 10 times and let me tell you: my body has started doing the exercises automatically. I would strongly advise you to watch the introductory session. Gives you a lot of insight on how to perform the moves the way you should.So I recommend this DVD to anyone who wants to keep their shape, have little time in their hands and don't want or cannot have the money to go to the gym. It's a great solution for home exercise!

Fast delivery item as stated, i previously had this on a VHS tape which broke, so i was very happy to be able to purchase this on DVD, I had been looking for this some time but never found it so I am extremely pleased with my purchase.

Very good for the beginner
Very good for the beginner, but you can still progress with it. It shows a good range of ages and fitness levels and all shapes and sizes. Billy Blanks is fun to watch too!

A Good 'After Baby' Workout
I am just getting back to seriously working out having my 2 kids (ages 20 months and 3 months) plus with an extra 40 lbs on...needless to say, I'm not in the best shape of my life. I found this tape, although a decent workout, lacking in the intensity that I was looking for. I was hoping for an intense workout that I could scale down and then work up to. I found the workout part too short and the cooldown excessively long. I also found there are too many marching breaks and that I end up continuing the previous move to get a more intense workout. I did break a sweat, though. I can recommend this workout for new mom's getting back into shape, for people that want a good 'due diligence'workout (that workout you do when you dont have the time or interest in a full workout), and for those who want to begin with Tae-bo...but for the avid workout fan...go for the advanced.

This is a great workout for a Tae Bo/Kickboxing beginner or low intermediate. It explains everything clearly with a 20 minute beginners' how-to section, and throughout the main workout there is good cueing and suggestions on modifications if you can't do certain things.The people in the class are an endearingly rag tag bunch of non-professionals of all ages. They're dressed in non-trendy mismatched clothes, occassionally struggle with the moves, but look like they're having a great time. I prefer this approach to the DVDs full of perfectly toned little gym bunnies because they make me feel so inadequate. This was fun. And I reckoned if 70+ year old little old Margaret can kick like a Rockette, there's hope for me too.It's occassionally a bit cheesy, especially when BB does his talk to camera "I can see you there at home" thing, but there's not a lot of this and it doesn't detract from the workout. My only complaint is that the main workout is so short, only 35 minutes. A good introduction to Tae Bo that left me wanting more.
