The Best Baby Monitor
Security was my top priority. I compared various monitors and landed on Eufy. We've been using it for 6 months, and I am well pleased with my purchase. The speaker quality is good. There is very minimal to no lag when viewing the monitor. The sound detection feature is top notch. I love that it can be used with or without Wi-Fi. The picture quality is great, as well as the battery life. The best part of the security camera is the portable monitor and it's range. It's given me a piece of mind while my little one sleeps. Also, the mobile app is functional and user-friendly. You can't go wrong with this baby monitor--it's worth every dollar.

Almost Perfect, With One Tiny Quirk
I’ve been really impressed with the Eufy baby camera. The picture quality is crystal clear—no more squinting at pixelated blobs wondering if the baby’s asleep or plotting an escape. I also love the flexibility: the camera runs unplugged, so I can easily move it wherever my baby happens to be napping or lounging. Whether it’s the crib, the playpen, or the occasional baby throne (aka the bouncer), this thing keeps up. The monitor itself is solid—good size, responsive, no lag—and the app is intuitive and user-friendly. I’m not wasting time fumbling with settings when I should be watching my kiddo. Now, the one (mildly annoying) quirk: when you go to dock the monitor on the charging cradle, it insists on turning itself back on. So if you’re trying to save battery or avoid lighting up the room, don’t bother turning it off manually—just plop it in the cradle and let it do its thing. Bottom line? Great camera, smart design, and reliable performance—just be ready for that monitor to have a mind of its own at charging time.

Lots of issues, don't buy this.
Updating my review here, there are quite a few more issues than I originally noticed with this camera. In fact, in my original review, I said that the camera was great, but the mounting arm was quite poor and frustrating. The company (to their credit) refunded me for the ENTIRE amount of the camera. This was almost concerning, why would you give me the entire amount back for a complaint about the mounting arm? But I think the company is moving away from this specific product and I would no longer recommend it to anyone, I'm happy I got my money back, but I'm now running into technical issues that I didn't have before. The connection is shoddy, I'm well within the 20m range, with just two (always open) doors between the camera and the monitor, and it very often has difficulty connecting or needs to buffer, this isn't very helpful when the baby starts crying but I don't see or hear it for 10-20+ seconds (or, I hear it in real life before the monitor shows it). Additionally, the monitor now often recommends (almost every time) that I switch to local connection for better streaming, but then the App doesn't work anymore. I choose 'cancel' but the prompt keeps showing up. Also, I now can no longer access the camera through the app even after turning off the monitor, because of this setting.. despite a mention of 'Smart Connect' that supposedly switches between local and wifi connection for the best performance. The Monitor itself, doesn't connect to the internet, from what I can tell, it is just tethered to the camera through bluetooth, and I think this causes a lot of the connection issues. If both pieces of hardware had wifi connections, I think we could keep a better signal. Lastly, there's a QR code sticker on the camera that you use to set it up, but be warned, if this gets ruined or lost, you have to contact support for help. There's no way to 'detect' a nearby device and connect that way (as you do with literally any other IOT device but hey). Bottom line, I'm glad they paid me back for this camera, I think it's a very poorly designed product. The Camera quality itself and monitor, independently, seem quite good (image quality, etc.), but the implementation is terrible, I will likely be throwing it in the garbage and looking for an alternative. All anyone needs in a baby monitor is a reliable and seamless connection, and this product fails in that regard, and to me it therefore fails as a product.

Best baby monitor on market in 2025
The only 4k dual wireless baby monitor with a battery on the market. I got this due to my old monitor not being able to push 30 feet through 2 concrete walls so I could use my house wifi with the option to turn off wifi and run from its own monitor when traveling. The unit's wireless signal is strong enough to be at full signal strength where my old one failed. Pros 1. 4k picture 2. Camera battery, frequent power outages here make this a requirement. 3. Crystal clear night vision. 4. Great sound quality 5. Motion and sound detection with room temperature and alerts. 6. Dual wireless, can be run from Eufy Baby app anywhere in the world or from the monitor. 7. Can run a second camera with split screen. 8. Has the ability to record if you add a microSD card, supports up to 128GB. Cons 1. The camera heats up, doesn't get hot enough to be worried, but it is warm to the touch. This is likely the image processor but there is no way of knowing if it is the battery. 2. The included flex mount is absolute trash and doesn't hold the weight of the camera. There are plenty of other mounting options, but don't expect to be able to use the one that is included. Overall this may be the best non-subscription baby monitor on the market and has a ton of features that the more expensive subscription ones don't have.

I really like it but….
I’ve had it set up for a few nights now. I really like it: easy set up, I bought an additional camera so I have 2 connected monitor seems to have a good battery life, I like it has a base to set it on vs a cord to plug in picture is great very wide lens (better then my Vava setup) so I can see the whole crib no subscriptions which is great I bought a micro SD card and I can playback previous recordings I can’t vouch for the sound consistency between the 2 cameras and how often it rotates between them but it actually picks up crying where as Vava camera didn’t pick it up all the time My only negative comment is the first night I had set up, it ran an update at 130am and if I had not noticed it did that (like sleeping as one should be at that time), I then stayed awake to make sure it came back on and it did NOT connect to cameras. It was just a black screen saying it couldn’t find any cameras. I turned it off and back on and it reconnected to both cameras and everything was fine. I understand new systems need to update, it’s just concerning that it didn’t reconnect and if I hadn’t noticed I would have lost eyes and ears to both babies rooms. UPDATE I decreased the stars. I had one night around 10pm all of sudden both cameras and monitor just reset. So in order to get them working again I had to go into their rooms to basically set them up as if it was a brand new camera from the box. I did not enjoy having to wake up my kids to get the cameras to work. I reached out to customer service and they claimed it was a one time glitch. A couple weeks later my 1 camera went crazy, flickered off, rotated around then came back to. I look on the app and it’s offline. Of course this happens at 9pm when my kid is sleeping. Thankfully the monitor is still working but I’m waiting for that to go out. The only way to reset it is in the room and I don’t feel like waking my kid to fix the camera. I reached out to customer service again. I want to like these cameras but the glitches that happen only at night are really starting to bother me.

Has some quirks, but overall great quality split screen camera and monitor.
Pros - Monitor is great. It has a large display that allows you to see split cameras very well. The charging stand is awesome and much easier to use than plugging in the cord each night. It keeps the monitor upright on my nightstand nicely. - Camera/video quality is lovely, as expected. - Remote access via the app has worked well for us even while using phone data. - We have a 2 story home plus a basement and have no issues with connection. We have high speed internet with a mesh system. You probably need good WiFi to have a strong and steady connection. - No monthly fees! You get both the monitor and app access included. Love that. - Includes white noise options. - You can speak through the camera monitor or the app. - We haven’t travelled yet but I think the camera will be really convenient for travel. Cons - The sound on the monitor and app seems low compared to other cameras I’ve used. Fine for a baby in a crib close to the camera, but for a toddler who moves around, I find it hard to hear them clearly when farther away from the camera. - The included mounting options are pretty basic and low quality. The crib mount was hard to adjust and feels top heavy with the camera. Also so much loose wiring! Same with the wall mount, that’s all you get. You will have to purchase additional items to hide wires away and the included charging cord probably won’t be long enough so you will need an extension. Comparing to something like Nanit - which includes ready to go out of the box solutions with cord management - you will have to do a lot more work and purchase additional parts. - You also will need to purchase SD cards and the additional camera for split screen if needed. Things start getting pricey fast. - The box packaging literally shows the app with 2 cameras in a single view, but that isn’t the case. Each child is its own page that you have to swipe through and manually open up the camera to view. Wish you could get a live view right away in each page OR see both cameras on one page. - In app I get alerts with my child’s name but on the monitor I can’t add a name so it’s just camera 1 or camera 2. Wish I could name the cameras on the monitor or they would sync up. Overall, I’m happy with the camera. I wanted a high quality, dual camera system with the ability to use a split screen monitor with remote app access - without a monthly fee and this achieves that! You have to put in some extra work compared to other high end systems and there are some things that feel a little unrefined but hopefully Eufy can update the system and improve it even more.

Monitor packed with nifty features for parents of multiples
PROS: 1.) Active noise reduction 2.) Alternates the sound every 5 seconds between the two cameras and you can see both babies at the same time 3.) If the power goes out the camera has a built in rechargeable battery, so you can still see baby 4.) 24/7 recording (for this feature I believe you have to have a c10 micro SD card (max 128gb) installed into the camera. I have ordered a sandisk extreme C10 128gb for my camera) 5.) Comes with a crib mount 6.) Sound alerts to our phones , option to use critical alert option so it bypasses silent and DND modes on your iphone 7.) 4K HD 8.) Camera has a built in battery, if power goes out you can still see baby 9.) night vision 10.) Cameras LED light auto turns off in the dark 11.) Works with wifi and non wifi, so no problem if power goes out & since camera has built in battery 12.) 2 cameras and monitor bundle on Amazon is currently $359. 13.) User manual states you can connect up to 4 cameras to this monitor as well, however I’m not sure how many the split screen option shows at once. 14.) App access to view cameras from phone CONS of Eufy E21: 1.) From the reviews, it appears they are working out some kinks with the sound and other reported glitches 2.) Users have noted that the monitor doesn't play an active noise/alarm when monitor is dying or when/if camera disconnects, so you could possibly sleep through not being able to see or hear babies through the night without that alarm feature. 3.) Users have noted when you switch the wifi off, it doesn’t actually disconnect. Users have noted that Eufy support has said they are working on an update to this as well. 4.) I do not believe there is a floor stand. Not sure if pro or con of Eufy E21: 1.) User stated as a pro, but I see it as a con, monitor unit does not have a kickstand. However, it does have a charging base for it to sit upright on. I am also not sure if the Eufy requires a monthly subscription to use the app. I will provide updates when I receive the unit (set to arrive tomorrow) and begin playing with the app and setup. UPDATES AFTER INSTALL USING FOR 2 WEEKS: Monitor does not need a kickstand as it has a large base to support itself. Night vision appears as good as my infant optics. Active noise reduction isn’t great. My infant optics completely erases the sound of the noise machine, and I can hear baby clear as day. However, with Eufy, I can’t really hear the baby over the noise machine. I only really know he’s making noise when the app alerts me. The camera records noise alerts, so you know what baby was crying about. Love that! No subscription seems to be needed. I have not had any camera disconnection issues.

Updated Review (After Support Experience)
I really wanted to love this product, and after some bumps along the way, I finally do. For the first two months, the Eufy Security Baby Monitor E21 worked flawlessly: clear audio and video, reliable connectivity, and the peace of mind every new parent needs. Then, unexpectedly, the monitor began disconnecting from Wi-Fi every few hours without warning. Despite trying everything — including a Wi-Fi extender just 10 feet away and ensuring the app and firmware were fully up to date — the issue persisted. Even more concerning was the lack of alerts when the monitor went offline, leaving us unaware unless we manually checked the app. Initially, I was deeply disappointed, especially because the core features of the monitor were so promising. But here’s where Eufy really impressed me — their support team reached out, worked with me directly, and ultimately provided a replacement unit that has been working perfectly since. The connectivity issues are gone, and the experience now reflects the quality and reliability I was hoping for from the beginning. I appreciate that the company stood behind their product and took real action to make things right. If you're considering this monitor, know that not only is it a solid product, but it's also backed by responsive and helpful support — something that matters just as much.

Eu plugs
Eufy are great products we have multiple cameras around our house and I’ve never had a problem with any definitely recommend the brand. However massively disappointed they sent me eu plugs in the box it shouldn’t be hard to work out if it’s perched in the UK to put the right plugs in the box.

Does what it needs to. Crystal clear image.
Wife wanted a good camera. Her friends all have the nannit with a subscription. This is totally good enough. The camera is crystal clear and when the baby wakes up and makes a noise the monitor turns on and we hear her. We can also monitor with our phones over wifi, so she can check on the baby when she’s out and I’ve put the baby to bed. The image is so good we can see the baby breathing for peace of mind. Great product, no problems. Comes with an attachment for the crib. Expensive, but it’s quality and not as expensive as the other brands.
