Summary: I replaced a ~$400 shark robot vacuum with this one after doing a ton of research. I am more than happy with my purchase. Vacuum works very well on tile and carpet, and the mop does a good enough job (equivalent of a light swiffering). The app works wonderfully, and the vacuum fits under my cabinets. Highly recommend!!!Pros:+ Fits under my low entertainment system and kitchen cabinets. Neither of my last 2 robot vacuums could do that.+ Did a good job of mapping. Was able to identify correctly different surface types (carpet vs hard floors), furniture, and other objects. It did struggle with a standing mirror on the floor (it thought it was a door to another room), but I can't really hold that against it.+ Does a good job vacuuming up most debris and dirt; like all mop/vacuum combinations, it doesn't vacuum up hair quite as well as a vacuum only (I think the hair gets stuck in the mop pads?)+ Mops pretty well. Robot mops are generally just "okay" at mopping; it's just water and scrub pad, so it doesn't work much better than a moderate "swiffer". That said, it works well, and it has never tried to mop a carpet.+ It gets the edges of walls/furniture/cabinets very well when mopping.+ App is extremely good, definitely stronger than many other brands. There are a lot of detailed controls, as well as extremely detailed run maps, information about objects it has identified, and very flexible scheduling features.+ It gives VERY GOOD error messages. If there is a specific thing wrong - for example, a sensor is dirty, the error message will say "a sensor is dirty" both via the vacuum speaker AND the app. If you open the message in the app, there will be a diagram and instructions on how to clean the sensor. SO HELPFUL.+ It gives the right number of error messages. I am not constantly being bombarded with messages like "obstacle avoided" . It only tells me about things I need to take action on.+ It looks sleek (for a robot vacuum).Cons:- Gets hair tangled around the brush roll, but this is a problem for all robot vacuums. It's not much worse than my last vacuum, but it is probably the thing that requires the most maintenance on the vacuum.- Requires a bag. I really liked that Shark is a bagless system, and I really loved that. Having to buy and replace bags sucks, and, honestly, it feels "old".- It does eat thinner cables if you are not careful. It will avoid most "normal" cords (e.g. the cord on a lamp or an surge protector), but it struggles with the narrow (and long) cables used for most phone chargers. It has eaten the 6ft USB-C cable by my bed a couple of times.- This is nitpicking - I hate that I can talk directly to my vacuum. I don't need my vacuum to be constantly listening to me. The vacuum absolutely should be able to connect it to an Amazon Echo/Google Home, but why in the world would I want to speak directly to my vacuum (and only my vacuum)? Who is thinking "gee, my life would be SO MUCH better if only I could give JUST my vacuum verbal commands to do a very limited set of actions? Actions that could be controlled more easily and with more detail via the app, which does not require I be within speaking distance of my vacuum?" The feature is dumb. It's not anywhere near a deal breaker, but I really hate that someone wasted time and money on this feature (which I'm sure contributed to the overall cost of the vacuum).

I love my first robot. It is a workhorse! It does not move haphazardly like some of my friends' vacuums. This robot is methodical. Easy to program. It goes straight to the scheduled room. When it meets a wall it moves over maybe 6" and returns on a parallel path making lovely, even vacuum path marks across the room's carpet. I bought this model because it is shorter and can reach under couches and dressers. Because it is so slim, the lidar technology is installed on the sides of the vacuum instead of on top. I imagine the top camera may turn independently to orient itself whereas on the slim model, the whole machine has to turn this way and that, when lost, to collect info from all its cameras before understanding its location. It takes a bit longer to get it's bearings but for me, it's worth the trade off. Mapping is a bit of a learning curve but I am amazed at just how accurate it is. Customer service is friendly, helpful and prompt. Just have your model and serial number ready before contacting. Rooms need to be cleared of obstacles. We broke the house into sections. Wednesday it is scheduled to clean the master suite Thursday it cleans the office and mancave. On Mondays it is scheduled to vacuum the dining, kitchen and living rooms. We move all the dining room chairs so it can has a clear path to concentrate on the crumbs under the table instead of navigating and circling 28 legs. On Fridays it recleans the dining room, kitchen and high traffic hallways. Because it does not do the entire house at once I cannot testify to battery life. It always has plenty of charge for the daily task unless it gets stuck. Suction is awesome. Cords need to be corralled, bath mats, waste baskets and laundry hampers need to be cleared from the scheduled paths. Last week the Roborock sucked up a low hanging Capri leg tie in the walkin closet and was stopped cold. The app on the phone tracks every move and helped us locate the robot when we realized it wasn't docked and charging. We have a second floor, so 2 maps. I carry the vacuum upstairs, click on the second map. When done, it is a little confused about how to return to the dock. The easiest way to reorient it is to place the robot just in front of the dock, click on map 1 and command it to return home. It turns around for a few seconds until it understands it's location, then backs in and starts charging We have been using it for 5 months and our house is cleaner than it has ever been when depending on me to get motivated. It's a lifesaver, a back saver and a time saver! You do have to check it periodically to make sure there are no blockages (such as a wayward post it note that has blocked the intake), the lidar lenses need dusting, and the filter needs to be rinsed every once in a while. Only two cons I can think of: 1. I don't need the mopping feature because some of our floors are very sensitive to water. It is hard to find a robot without that feature any more! The robot's dock is always displaying a red light because I don't fill the water tank which was a little disconcerting at first. 2. I named it Bella but it will only answer to Rocky.

⚠️ FRAUD Company⚠️December 2025 the side arm brush broke which should be expected if anything gets caught on it the. It will 100% kill the motor. I didn’t bother even trying to deal with the warranty claim and addressed the repair myself which was fairly easy and straight forward. I had to order the part from Aliexpress since Roborock does not offer parts to consumers.I have made multiple legal requests for the repair manuals and Information guaranteed under Oregon ORS 1596 CH 69 right to repair law. All requests have been denied. When calling in to the customer support number is pointless because they claim they can’t do anything and there is no way to speak with anyone in the warranty claims department. They refuse to do anything other than make notes.There is no customer advocacy aka legal department contact information or US based address. The warranty language is unethical and illegal with many red flags but that is actually extremely normal with most companies especially based over seas selling in the US market.⛔️ I have filed a complaint with my State attorney general consumer fraud and affairs division.Per my legal rights under FTC and ORS consumer rights laws, it is illegal for companies like Roborock to imply or state that they will void a warranty if a consumer makes repairs or modifications to a product. I decided to open up the docking station and everything looks clean! I did not see any water spots or corrosion which would indicate water leaking internally. So I ran a descale cycle on the mop cleaning and then bit the bullet and started a room clean and mop cycle while simultaneously watching the internal pumps and hoses for any leaks. As soon as the Roborock vacuum came off the docking station I immediately noticed the all too familiar continuous streaming leaking water coming from the vacuum it’s self and I stopped the cycle from running. I have now 100% determined the issue is with the vacuum it’s self and not the docking station. So I can now begin to open up the vacuum chassis to look for the culprit of this issue.Update: 8 months of use and there is a water leak happening. So I have notified Roborock customer service and supplied pictures. Under Oregon Law SB 1569 CH 69 I am legally requesting any and all repair manuals, diagrams, and materials and or pursuant to FTC consumer rights warranty laws I am requesting a new replacement be sent at no cost due to manufacturer defect.Water is leaking out the top of the unit and getting inside of the dust bin and all over the floor. Water is seen spilling out when the vacuum is inverted. It appears that Roborock offers a limited 1 year warranty that has some illegal unenforceable stipulations that violate US federal consumer rights laws. So be aware that buying from this company will present ethical and legal challenges if needing to utilize the warranty for manufacturing defect. Remember you can always file a claim with your State Attorney General Consumer affairs division if the company violates your protected federal or State code Sumer rights.This is my first robo vacuum! I did a lot of research and I actually wanted the model up from this one but it was sold out! I am so happy with this model low profile it cleans areas that I used to only access on a monthly or yearly basis by moving large pieces of furniture! I bought this when there were zero reviews available! It has been working great for me since day #1.I used the vacuum for the first 3 cleaning without the mop feature as instructed and it was straight forward! There was a small bit of learning curve with the app interface as features are not intuitive and it takes a minute to orient one’s self!My hair is down to my low back and I have 5 cats inside and after this first week of using the vacuum every day I never want to be without one again. I love the mopping feature except that it keeps sending me notifications for an empty water bin 💔. I have kept the water bin on half full to prevent any standing water mold growth (look up pink mildew) you will recognize it from your shower and plant watering cans if you have seen it before.I noticed that it adapts and learns quickly to new objects like laundry baskets but for some strange reason and despite setting the floor layout it keeps pushing my pet bowls out of place 🙈💔. Thankfully the auto pet feeder is not currently programmed to feed otherwise the food would go all over the floor. I a, considering acting some removable and washable dusting pads to the sides of this little guy to hit my baseboards and furniture. - this stopped after a few months once the programming learned it was a feeding station.

It's been a couple of weeks since I bought my qrevo slim, and since then there hasn't been a need to pull out the big vacuum. This robot does a pretty good job cleaning once you deal with it's limitations.I have it mopping and vaccuming the first floor of my house, which is hardwood flooring with area rugs.On the very first cleaning, the robot got itself stuck under the sofa, which was barely high enough for it to get under. The problem was that the carpet was close to the edge of the sofa, and so there wasn't quite enough clearence for the robot to get underneath. By moving the carpet 6 inches away, the robot was able to get underneath the sofa and no longer got stuck. There was another spot where the distance between the carpet and the wall was about 3/4 of the diameter of the robot. This cause the robot to think it was entirely on hardwood and it proceeded to wet mop the edge of my carpet. Moving the carpet a full diameter from the wall solved this. After going around my house and making minor adjustments to the carpet distance between the walls and sofas I was able to work around the robot's limitations, and now I am comfortable that I can leave the robot unattended without it getting stuck or mopping my carpets. If you cannot adjust your area rugs then you might have to set up some no mop zones in the app.Other than the above issues, the navigation of the robot is pretty good. It is certainly smarter than the roomba upstairs in that it mostly doesn't ram floorboards and furniture as it roams the house. I had to install felt pads on our roomba's bumper to prevent it from scratching the furniture, but so far I haven't felt the need to do so on the roborock. I cannot comment on obstacle avoidance as we don't leave things like USB cables lying around the house.The mopping is better than expected. I didn't have high hopes for such a tiny set of mop pads, but I was wrong. The bot makes regular trips back to the docking station to clean the pads, and. it actually seems to do a good job. I can see from the dirty water thank that it is getting up a good amount of dirt. It also scrubs the pads with hot water and dries them with hot air to prevent mold. One criticism I have about the mop is on the auto extension arm. It's cool that it can extend a mop pad out to reach the edge of floor boards, but this leads to a 2 inch gap between the pads where nothing gets scrubbed, and the robot doesn't seem to always go back and scrub that gap area.While the robot does save you time in vacuuming and mopping, it creates some new chores. The clean and dirty water tanks need to be filled/emptied frequently, the mopping base needs cleaning once a month, the pads need washing every one to two weeks, and the robot needs to be serviced at regular intervals (wipe dust off of the sensors, get hair out of the brush, etc) to keep it working properly. It's less work overall than dragging out the big vaccuum and mop, but it is still a significant amount of work. I also have concerns about the longevity of this thing, but after going through internet forums it seems like they work for a few years if properly maintained.Update after 6 months:This thing is the first bit of tech that has genuinely impressed me in years. The robot seems to learn from it's mistakes and rarely gets stuck anymore. Once every month or so it gets trapped or lost somehow (sometimes due to kids moving furniture), but it is so infrequent as to not bother me. Unlike my older roomba, it does not crash into furniture or walls-- it gets very close and then stops without scuffing everything. I don't place felt on the bumpers because it isn't necessary. Other than routine maintenance, the only other thing that goes wrong is an occasional dust bin clog. From what I have read on various forums, roborocks generally last for a few years or more if you look after them. If that's the case, this thing will be well worth the price as expensive as it is.For those wondering, here is my routine maintenance. I use it 5x a week for vacuum and mopping around 1000 sq ft of hardwood floors and carpets:Every 3-4 days:1.Empty the dirty water.2. Fill the clean water reservoir and add a capful of cleaner. I use the roborock cleaner and it's fine.Every week or when I see the robot acting funny:1. Check the dustbin for clogs.2. Remove hair from the brushes.Every month or so:1. Clean and rinse the mop washing tray.2. Check the vacuum bag to see if it needs replacing.3. Wipe off the sensor covers.Changing the water tanks is the most annoying of all the tasks, but it isn't too bad honestly. Everything else takes only a minure or two.

After nearly 6 years using our old "dumb" robot vacuum, we decided to upgrade to a newer "smart" vacuum. After doing much research we found that the Roborock line of vacuums were getting very good reviews. This model was the one we chose, and after on month of use, we are very, very happy with the results.Set up was fast and easy, and the unit mapped our 1,300+ sqft main floor in less than 15 minutes and was ready to begin cleaning. The Roborock smartphone app is very user intuitive, and makes creating rooms, zones and flooring types very easy. Scheduling cleaning routines and creating "no go" areas is also very very easy.The unit will vacuum and mop our 1,300+ sqft main floor in about 2-1/2 hours which includes time to return to the dock and wash the mop pads, and recharge once. If we just want to vacuum only, it takes about half that amount of time.Pros:Excellent vacuum and mopping resultsVery good battery lifeEasy to use mobile appRelatively quiet operationVery good object detection and avoidanceLow profile allows units to clean under more objects than most unitsWarm air drying of the mop pads to prevent mold, mildew and odorsCons:Price... unit is very expensiveOnboard dust bin is small, and requires more frequent trips back to dockThis is kind of nitpicky, but when used in "smart plan" mode, the unit takes some odd routes around the house instead of cleaning rooms in close proximity to each other and kind of cleans areas at random. Again, this is really a small issue, and not a big deal at all.Overall, after using for a solid month so far, I really couldn't be happier with this vacuum, especially compared to our previous aged unit.Highly recommend!

This vacuum was promising, well built, good reviews, heavy and had all the new features without a lot of the new questionable additions that aren't ready for launch, I was very excited to get this vacuum to replace my old but still working s6Pure. I wanted mopping and better control. The slim immediately disappointed by throwing pieces of dried leaves around and left a couple of crumbs and so I ran it again and it got them, but my s6pure would have gotten these promptly on it's first pass-no need to run twice. On carpet, the slim really pushes into it, and my carpets take a beating. Maybe that's good for high pile but the arc and the s6 left better looking lines on high pile and on low pile mat type washable rugs, the slim, in it's 3 uses has already caused the edges around the carpet to begin to unravel and it's got a super aggressive infatuation on the edges of my rugs that doesn't allow disable. Customer service said to return but in watching others videos, this seems to be new programming where it pivots back and forth along a carpets edge. I don't understand why my s6 seems superior in almost all ways except maybe mopping, which I haven't really used yet. I thought I could solve some of this with exchanging the hard rubber brushes with the soft bristle like brush that my s6 uses, however customer service and some forums have informed this isn't possible due to the new hexagon axle shape they used on the newer double rubber roller models. That is very disappointing. I am not a fan of the rubber roller brushes. It still tangles my long hair very badly into the ends and while yes I can pop those off, I still needs scissors to do this chore. My s6 does the same thing but with the s6 it was much easier and less time consuming to unwrap the hair. Again, s6 wins here. It also does a turn around corners and wall edges where the side of the vacuum and the back mop attachment plastic strikes and beats up my baseboard quarter round, the arc did this also, my s6 keeps a respectable distance while still cleaning up to the edge and does not drive onto, turn or back over the baseboards. What's most disappointing is the tiny, inconceivably small dustbin, on both arc and slim. I know you can set it to empty after each room but that doesn't work in a large house or multifloor situation. What is roborock thinking. The slim also makes a cringe sound on my laminate flooring, like nails on a chalboard to me but my husband didn't seem to mind. So, to summarize, the slim is nice looking and maybe has more bells on it but if it has to take twice as long, be looked after to continuously empty it's dustbin and keep it away from the low pile rug and then go upstairs to get my handheld to vacuum the low pile rugs myself, I don't know that the slim necessarily is doing it's job as a robot vacuum and it is certainly making more tedious tasks for me, versus my trusty reliable s6 pure. Maybe we already met the peak of vacuum technology and we're just reaching for selling points on a plateau. I wish roborock still sold the s6 brushes. I don't know how these newer models have such great reviews. I compared this against a bargain store version of the s5x, qrevo arc and the slim seemed smarter, more careful, heavier and well built and better looking but the slim got lost more often and the rubber brush rollers were a deal breaker that the arc won because it has the duo divide brushes which solved the long hair tangles and beating up the edge of my rug , however the arc is rough on quarter round baseboard flooring and bumps things a lot more, even though it's mapped out. I really wanted the slim to win.

I haven’t owned a different model to compare this robo vac/ mop with but this one seems to function well, and it should for the price.The vacuum function is excellent at pickup, and the same for the mopping. The navigation is solid. It does bump things very often and mis identifies obstacles but not a serious issue. I believe this stems from not having the lidar puck on top but rather in the front and relaying more on cameras for the navigation so they could achieve the lower profile design. Which to that end, this does fit nicely under literally every piece of furniture we own, including the dressers, which makes us feel great about how affective it cleans compared to our old vacuums and mops which literally never got under any of that unless we were rearranging a room. So for that aspect alone it’s great. I am a little concerned about long term wear and tear as it seems to struggle a bit in our tall high pile bedroom carpets and I’m sure that leads to a lot of motor fatigue. Another thing to note: it’s nice to not have to use a vacuum or mop but you do have to still think about where and when it cleans because things left on the floor present a big obstacle to it. Shoes, laundry, power cords, toys, anything small in its path it will bump into and around and even sometimes tangle with, so things need to be picked up if you want it to do a nice job or not get stuck. I think where it would really shine is big open spaces that don’t hardly see any clutter but have lots of furniture. Just maybe not high end wood furniture because again; this particular model bumps everything. There’s a setting to not get close to things but then I feel it defeats the point.The app functions well and is pretty easy to use for anyone that’s got some aptitude for that sort of thing. Otherwise I think you would want to watch some help videos or read the manual.In 5 years (maybe less) I think robovacs will be incredible, this isn’t quite there. But it is nice if you have the money to spare or a lack of time.TLDR: The low profile may make for slightly poorer navigation but it’s does an excellent job cleaning including underneath everything.

My house has a mix of engineered wood, carpet, and tile floors. We have three dogs and 2 kids under 12. This is the second robot that I have owned. The first was a Deebot N7 bought back in mid 2022. The Deebot was terrible at mopping so ended up just using it as a vacuum. It would constantly get stuck on cords or lost. It would get hair wrapped up all around the rotating brush causing it to malfunction. It was high maintenance having to keep up with emptying the dust bin, prepping the floors to give our little robot the best chance of success, and closing/opening doors to control where it went. It also dragged dog poop all over our floor the last time we used it. All in all, the Deebot N7 robot sucked.I have had the Qrevo Slim for about a week now. Set up was easy. It mapped the whole house. We have an open floor plan and so it called the kitchen, dining room, living room, and halls one giant room, but that was easy to fix by going into the map and putting up "barriers" to divide each of the rooms. We have some cords under the master bed that it got stuck on so I went into the map and made a no-go barrier where those cords are and now it doesn't go there. I have it programmed to vacuum all of the common areas twice a day, and then mop half of the floors Sun/Tues/Thurs and the other half Mon/Wed/Fri. The app lets me specify how I want to clean on each run like do I want to use more or less water, how much vacuum suction, do i want it to go over everything twice, etc. Lots of options. The Qrevo Slim hasn't gotten lost. It's gotten stuck a couple of times on cell phone charging cords and a robe. It does leave streaks when it mops, but it can also mop everyday which I do not have the time for. I will absolutely take the streaks over unmopped floors! I also really like how I can go into the app and select a specific room and how I want that room cleaned and the robot will go and do that. The vacuum is much quieter than the Deebot's or a typical manual vacuum cleaner. It seems like it will be pretty low maintenance...maybe having to replace the dustbag every couple of weeks and the mop water every week. We are going to put it through some heavy use...hope it holds up! So far so good.

Why didn’t I buy this sooner. It’s been 2 months of using it. And I only mopped my floor twice. One day I found myself pulling out my broom, and thought use the robot vacuum. It’s does a great job, and it’s not to loud when it runs on the scheduled routine at night while we sleep. Obstacle avoidance is good. Just super happy

Es un aparato avanzado que ha superado las muchas de las debilidades de las primeras generaciones de robots de limpieza. Está equipado con su propia lámpara por lo que no necesita que la habitación esté iluminada, y puedes ver el video de la cámara para hablar con tu mascota o vigilar tu casa desde fuera. Es muy independiente, con confianza lo puedes programar y limpia tus pisos sin atorarse a la hora programada. Es una maravilla. Definitivamente recomendable.
