We have had this for about a month now and have been extremely happy with it. We have had a couple of Neato vacs and a Eufy and all have been just okay with main issues of battery life and mediocre personal — never been overly happy with the others but the roborock has been outstanding. I was originally concerned about the price, but I think you actually get what you pay for with this. Connectivity of this has been superb - no issues connecting to our Orbi mesh with the 2.4g requirement. Vacuuming has been excellent with better overall pickup and better getting in corners along walls. Mopping is actually very good - we use distilled water to reduce any streaks or swirls (which you can see sometimes in the right light with just tap water) Mapping has been excellent. Far better accuracy with this compared to others. Setting up of zones is also easier. No issues generally with it bumping into things. We have engineered, carpet, rugs, and lvp — it can sense the flooring type and adjust as needed. The mopping is accurate as well, doing a good job staying on the hardwood and ignoring the carpet for mopping. Volume is better / lower overall compared to the others — some of the others could get a bit loud but we don’t have that issue with the roborock Slim profile can get under some of our furniture with no issues. Hoping the battery will not be an issue and if it does become a problem, I will likely update this post. Not many things I would give a 5 star rating to, but this is one. If you have been frustrated with lower end models but are concerned about the cost of this — buy once cry once.

I have to revise my review. I loved this device, but I could not get replacements for some of the frequently replaced parts from the manufacturer, because they were always out of stock, so I had to use third-party alternatives. This worked okay for a while, until it didn’t. Now I cannot find any part that will actually latch into place to hold the brushes in, so it’s effectively useless as a vacuum at this point, and IT IS ONLY SIX MONTHS OLD! I finally reached out for customer support. Their phone line is worthless. I sat on hold forever and never got to a person. Their email is worthless too. I have been trying to get some help there for days. Nothing. Nothing at all except asking for the same information that I provided when I registered the product initially (receipt, where I am, and the product’s serial number). How they don’t have this when I gave it to them to register the machine using the same email address is a mystery, but they have it twice now, and I have heard nothing more. That makes this machine cost more than $100/month. It is absolutely not worth that! —— I had a Eufy for a year, and it frequently had issues. In fact, I got replacements for it twice. Finally, I got this one. WHAT AN IMPROVEMENT! This one is quieter, more efficient, washes its mop better, and just works more consistently and reliably. Worth every penny! Great battery life too.

Initial Review: My family has historically bought Roomba’s, which we’ve seen more widely distributed in some retail stores and figured they were good quality. After about 2 different models over the years breaking down after just a few months, we started buying cheaper robots and those faired pretty well. Then we got a Siberian Husky and dog hair became our worst enemy. The lower tier vacuums would help, however, at some point they also became a hassle themselves. They would get stuck constantly, they weren’t ‘smart’ and wouldn’t clean strategically. They would also fill up and need constant emptying. We have two of these lower tier older robot vacuums running every single day. The smartest feature they have is that they can be programmed when to start. Being the engineer that I am, I did extensive research for a replacement that would solve all our problems. Problems: - constantly needing to empty the robot - needing to also scrub/mop the surface to actually leave a “clean” look - constantly needing to clean the brushes, mops, etc. - durability, cannot break down constantly. - inefficient cleaning due to poor mapping So far, this device solves ALL issues. The LiDAR and software combo is the big selling point to me. It allows for accurate mapping and SMART cleaning. You need the mapping and program to work well to preserve battery life and effectively clean. Past low tier options have always circled around the same areas for hours and not strategically cleaned. This robot is actually SMART. It will literally go into a room and only clean that room. For that reason alone, I would recommend it. Update: I ordered ANOTHER one for my home’s second floor. It worked so well on the massive first floor, that I couldnt resist ordering another for the second floor. My family reported never seeing a single hair on the floor after the first one was purchased. They moved their old non-smart vacuums both upstairs and these now would leave hair all over. The super positive reviews of the effects on the first floor led me to order another to fully resolve the hair crisis at home.

Summary A very solid robot vacuum/mop combo with a smart base system that's packed with features. However, isn't amazing, especially for its high price. 8.75 out of 10 Vacuuming This robot does great job here. I rarely, if ever, notice any debris left behind on both carpet and hardwood/tile after it does its runs. There are multiple power settings as to how strong the suction power can be, I usually run it at High (there are two further settings: Max & Max+). 10/10 Mopping Good, but not great. It most gets the floors cleaned and does a solid job of not leaving trails of water behind. Where it falls short is "deep cleaning", and use that term very loosely. For smudges or stains that would require even the slightest amount of elbow grease, the robot doesn't effectively clean those well. I'll continue to try and mess around with the settings to see if this area gets better. 7/10 Obstacle Avoidance Another area that's good, but not great. It navigates around chairs, clothes, and shoes with ease. However, on multiple occasions, the robot has a) attempted to run over the foot of a guitar stand we and got stuck, and b) gotten stuck running over a standard wall-mounted doorstop. From my research, Roborock and Dreame are the two brands with the best obstacle avoidance, so I will admit I had high expectations. 8/10 Traversal The robot transitions from hardwood to carpet seamlessly and navigates edges very well. The one issue I had here was it got stuck going from tile floor to a memory foam bath mat. While I sort of understand there's probably about and inch of difference between the floor and the mat, my old Roomba could handle that easily, so I'd expect a much more advanced robot to handle with ease. 8/10 The Base Absolutely incredible. It washes and dries all of the mopping components, it self empties, it will direct the robot to go back and clean again if detects a lot of dirt after a run, it speaks to you, it's straightforward to use, and it's not an eyesore. 10/10 General Usage (9.5/10) Noise level - Very good when in use, much quieter than my old Roomba and usually I can't hear it if I'm upstairs while it's running. Battery life - No issue here, I only have it run downstairs which is about 1,000sq ft. and it can complete a full vacuum and mop run on one charge and still have some power left over. However, if the floor plan is larger than 1,200 sq ft. I'd imagine it would need to charge partway through it's run. App - Functionality is great and you can do just about everything you can think of (schedules, routines, map editing, etc.) The one thing I wish was better was it's connection with Siri/Google. While it does connect to Apple Home, etc. I'll run into some issue using a voice command to start the robot or it won't run the routine I asked it to run. However, not sure if that's a Roborock problem or an Apple/Google problem.

I liked it so much I bought a second one for upstairs. I had bought a Shark Matrix Plus at Thanksgiving but should have believed the reviews about no support & very un-user friendly (the app). So it’s in the box & my floors look great with the new robots. I don’t see how you could go as long as advertised between dock maintenance, I have to empty dirty water & refill fresh water a couple times a week but I vac & mop almost every night. I love that it has spinning mop pads & the dock does everything, even washing & drying the mop pads. The app is pretty easy but I’m 68 & sadly a little tech challenged. But I’ve made my way with all I needed to do, with help from Reddit lol. I also love it having the laser inside the unit instead of on top, enabling it to go under my couches & almost everything else, which the Shark did not. The stellar object avoidance is great in case something small is on the floor like a charging cable. I also have 2 tiny poodles & a Shih Tzu who will (frustratingly) may poop inside & I can rest assured it won’t be spread all over my house. Not usually a problem since I do a floor check before starting the robot. I haven’t set up schedules yet but will now that I’m more comfortable with the app. My only problem has been there was, I guess, a flaw in the continuity of the light foam shoe we used under the kitchen cabinets. It’s waterproof which seemed good but…. The mop pads have ripped off a lot of it but if it had been glued on I think it would’ve been fine. I plan to replace it all with wood which won’t be so fragile. Not a fault of the robot, just info for whoever may need it. I love my Roborocks & have recommended them many times. Also I got them on sale $400 off regular price which was great. The only think I would change is make the dock with a bagless dust bin, Shark beats Roborock there, sorry! I haven’t had to buy a dust bag in 20 years but it was an acceptable trade off for the technology of the Roborock.

This vacuum was promising, well built, good reviews, heavy and had all the new features without a lot of the new questionable additions that aren't ready for launch, I was very excited to get this vacuum to replace my old but still working s6Pure. I wanted mopping and better control. The slim immediately disappointed by throwing pieces of dried leaves around and left a couple of crumbs and so I ran it again and it got them, but my s6pure would have gotten these promptly on it's first pass-no need to run twice. On carpet, the slim really pushes into it, and my carpets take a beating. Maybe that's good for high pile but the arc and the s6 left better looking lines on high pile and on low pile mat type washable rugs, the slim, in it's 3 uses has already caused the edges around the carpet to begin to unravel and it's got a super aggressive infatuation on the edges of my rugs that doesn't allow disable. Customer service said to return but in watching others videos, this seems to be new programming where it pivots back and forth along a carpets edge. I don't understand why my s6 seems superior in almost all ways except maybe mopping, which I haven't really used yet. I thought I could solve some of this with exchanging the hard rubber brushes with the soft bristle like brush that my s6 uses, however customer service and some forums have informed this isn't possible due to the new hexagon axle shape they used on the newer double rubber roller models. That is very disappointing. I am not a fan of the rubber roller brushes. It still tangles my long hair very badly into the ends and while yes I can pop those off, I still needs scissors to do this chore. My s6 does the same thing but with the s6 it was much easier and less time consuming to unwrap the hair. Again, s6 wins here. It also does a turn around corners and wall edges where the side of the vacuum and the back mop attachment plastic strikes and beats up my baseboard quarter round, the arc did this also, my s6 keeps a respectable distance while still cleaning up to the edge and does not drive onto, turn or back over the baseboards. What's most disappointing is the tiny, inconceivably small dustbin, on both arc and slim. I know you can set it to empty after each room but that doesn't work in a large house or multifloor situation. What is roborock thinking. The slim also makes a cringe sound on my laminate flooring, like nails on a chalboard to me but my husband didn't seem to mind. So, to summarize, the slim is nice looking and maybe has more bells on it but if it has to take twice as long, be looked after to continuously empty it's dustbin and keep it away from the low pile rug and then go upstairs to get my handheld to vacuum the low pile rugs myself, I don't know that the slim necessarily is doing it's job as a robot vacuum and it is certainly making more tedious tasks for me, versus my trusty reliable s6 pure. Maybe we already met the peak of vacuum technology and we're just reaching for selling points on a plateau. I wish roborock still sold the s6 brushes. I don't know how these newer models have such great reviews. I compared this against a bargain store version of the s5x, qrevo arc and the slim seemed smarter, more careful, heavier and well built and better looking but the slim got lost more often and the rubber brush rollers were a deal breaker that the arc won because it has the duo divide brushes which solved the long hair tangles and beating up the edge of my rug , however the arc is rough on quarter round baseboard flooring and bumps things a lot more, even though it's mapped out. I really wanted the slim to win.

I haven’t owned a different model to compare this robo vac/ mop with but this one seems to function well, and it should for the price. The vacuum function is excellent at pickup, and the same for the mopping. The navigation is solid. It does bump things very often and mis identifies obstacles but not a serious issue. I believe this stems from not having the lidar puck on top but rather in the front and relaying more on cameras for the navigation so they could achieve the lower profile design. Which to that end, this does fit nicely under literally every piece of furniture we own, including the dressers, which makes us feel great about how affective it cleans compared to our old vacuums and mops which literally never got under any of that unless we were rearranging a room. So for that aspect alone it’s great. I am a little concerned about long term wear and tear as it seems to struggle a bit in our tall high pile bedroom carpets and I’m sure that leads to a lot of motor fatigue. Another thing to note: it’s nice to not have to use a vacuum or mop but you do have to still think about where and when it cleans because things left on the floor present a big obstacle to it. Shoes, laundry, power cords, toys, anything small in its path it will bump into and around and even sometimes tangle with, so things need to be picked up if you want it to do a nice job or not get stuck. I think where it would really shine is big open spaces that don’t hardly see any clutter but have lots of furniture. Just maybe not high end wood furniture because again; this particular model bumps everything. There’s a setting to not get close to things but then I feel it defeats the point. The app functions well and is pretty easy to use for anyone that’s got some aptitude for that sort of thing. Otherwise I think you would want to watch some help videos or read the manual. In 5 years (maybe less) I think robovacs will be incredible, this isn’t quite there. But it is nice if you have the money to spare or a lack of time. TLDR: The low profile may make for slightly poorer navigation but it’s does an excellent job cleaning including underneath everything.

⚠️ FRAUD Company⚠️ December 2025 the side arm brush broke which should be expected if anything gets caught on it the. It will 100% kill the motor. I didn’t bother even trying to deal with the warranty claim and addressed the repair myself which was fairly easy and straight forward. I had to order the part from Aliexpress since Roborock does not offer parts to consumers. I have made multiple legal requests for the repair manuals and Information guaranteed under Oregon ORS 1596 CH 69 right to repair law. All requests have been denied. When calling in to the customer support number is pointless because they claim they can’t do anything and there is no way to speak with anyone in the warranty claims department. They refuse to do anything other than make notes. There is no customer advocacy aka legal department contact information or US based address. The warranty language is unethical and illegal with many red flags but that is actually extremely normal with most companies especially based over seas selling in the US market. ⛔️ I have filed a complaint with my State attorney general consumer fraud and affairs division. Per my legal rights under FTC and ORS consumer rights laws, it is illegal for companies like Roborock to imply or state that they will void a warranty if a consumer makes repairs or modifications to a product. I decided to open up the docking station and everything looks clean! I did not see any water spots or corrosion which would indicate water leaking internally. So I ran a descale cycle on the mop cleaning and then bit the bullet and started a room clean and mop cycle while simultaneously watching the internal pumps and hoses for any leaks. As soon as the Roborock vacuum came off the docking station I immediately noticed the all too familiar continuous streaming leaking water coming from the vacuum it’s self and I stopped the cycle from running. I have now 100% determined the issue is with the vacuum it’s self and not the docking station. So I can now begin to open up the vacuum chassis to look for the culprit of this issue. Update: 8 months of use and there is a water leak happening. So I have notified Roborock customer service and supplied pictures. Under Oregon Law SB 1569 CH 69 I am legally requesting any and all repair manuals, diagrams, and materials and or pursuant to FTC consumer rights warranty laws I am requesting a new replacement be sent at no cost due to manufacturer defect. Water is leaking out the top of the unit and getting inside of the dust bin and all over the floor. Water is seen spilling out when the vacuum is inverted. It appears that Roborock offers a limited 1 year warranty that has some illegal unenforceable stipulations that violate US federal consumer rights laws. So be aware that buying from this company will present ethical and legal challenges if needing to utilize the warranty for manufacturing defect. Remember you can always file a claim with your State Attorney General Consumer affairs division if the company violates your protected federal or State code Sumer rights. This is my first robo vacuum! I did a lot of research and I actually wanted the model up from this one but it was sold out! I am so happy with this model low profile it cleans areas that I used to only access on a monthly or yearly basis by moving large pieces of furniture! I bought this when there were zero reviews available! It has been working great for me since day #1. I used the vacuum for the first 3 cleaning without the mop feature as instructed and it was straight forward! There was a small bit of learning curve with the app interface as features are not intuitive and it takes a minute to orient one’s self! My hair is down to my low back and I have 5 cats inside and after this first week of using the vacuum every day I never want to be without one again. I love the mopping feature except that it keeps sending me notifications for an empty water bin 💔. I have kept the water bin on half full to prevent any standing water mold growth (look up pink mildew) you will recognize it from your shower and plant watering cans if you have seen it before. I noticed that it adapts and learns quickly to new objects like laundry baskets but for some strange reason and despite setting the floor layout it keeps pushing my pet bowls out of place 🙈💔. Thankfully the auto pet feeder is not currently programmed to feed otherwise the food would go all over the floor. I a, considering acting some removable and washable dusting pads to the sides of this little guy to hit my baseboards and furniture. - this stopped after a few months once the programming learned it was a feeding station.

Why didn’t I buy this sooner. It’s been 2 months of using it. And I only mopped my floor twice. One day I found myself pulling out my broom, and thought use the robot vacuum. It’s does a great job, and it’s not to loud when it runs on the scheduled routine at night while we sleep. Obstacle avoidance is good. Just super happy

Cumple lo que promete. Ahora que tenemos una bebé y los tiempos se ven reducidos y se han vuelto casi inexistentes para las tareas de limpieza entre nuestra nena, nuestros trabajos y nuestro perrito de raza grande cuyo pelaje es el pan de cada dia, la verdad es que roborock nos permite de cierta forma despreocupados del aspiradora y el trapeado diario. La tenemos programada para aspiradora, trapeado o limpieza profunda según nuestras necesidades y hasta ahora ha sido una buena inversión. Lo recomiendo.

Es un aparato avanzado que ha superado las muchas de las debilidades de las primeras generaciones de robots de limpieza. Está equipado con su propia lámpara por lo que no necesita que la habitación esté iluminada, y puedes ver el video de la cámara para hablar con tu mascota o vigilar tu casa desde fuera. Es muy independiente, con confianza lo puedes programar y limpia tus pisos sin atorarse a la hora programada. Es una maravilla. Definitivamente recomendable.
