Excellent and Versatile Reel
I’ve been using my Penn Battle IV 3000 since September 2025, and it has performed flawlessly. It’s an incredibly solid, smooth reel with excellent quality for the price. I use it for everything from bass fishing to inshore fishing, and it has handled every situation with ease. I’ve even landed several large redfish on it without any issues. Overall, it’s been a reliable and versatile reel that has exceeded my expectations.

Great for surf fishing. A little expensive but a pretty smooth reel. The drag is really nice and the line capacity is fair for the reel

Battle tested, battle approved. A bit heavy, and maybe a bit of a balance issue with the modern featherweight rods. But a payoff that’s worth it for its heavy duty and waterproof performance.
