Not for beginners, but AMAZING for advanced beginners
本当にすごい。I really love this book. The only thing is, it's definitely not for beginners. I'm a little ahead of beginners, this is why it's good. But if I was a complete beginner, I wouldn't understand ANYTHING . I think it's an amazing book though.

Cannot recommend
Very disappointed! Impossible to read the hiragana and katakana above the kanji, the writing is so small! Also there seems to be no logic as to which instructions are translated into English, which means you’re guessing what is expected from a question. Cannot recommend this and now wishing I had chosen a different text book.

The perfect book to truly start learning
I used this book to study for the JLPT test and I must say that thanks to this book I was able to pass the exam. This book series explains Japanese in a very easy and practical way, with useful exercises and easy-to-understand explanations. I love it

Super Buch. Aber nur in Englisch und japanisch. Also Vorkenntnisse besonders bei hiragana und katakana sind notwendig

good study book for N5
I'm currently studying Japanese for N5 test. I am using this book and it's really helping. I like the audio so you can follow along and practice listening. I like that it's available on spotify too.
