Nice brush soap! Cleans and conditions your watercolor brushes. Smells good. Be gentle with your brushes and they will last for a long time. Never leave brush tip standing in water. Clean with lukewarm, not hot water and soap after use. Rinse and gentle squeeze out water with paper towel or cloth. While damp reshape brush tip with fingers. Store brush in upright position or in a brush wrap.

This is my absolute favorite brush cleaner! I use zibra brushes, so i want to make sure they stay nice and try to extend the life of them. I usually wash the brushes off with dawn and water first, (you dont get much product so you want to get as much paint off as possible first) Once that runs clean, i do a second clean with this, and it gets the rest of the paint off the brush! My brushes i use are nice and soft still. Will be buying more!

This thing is massive. Don’t think I’m going to run out of brush soap for a while. I have the smaller 2oz one but I ran out and I love this soap. Works great and gentle on the bristles. How much soap you get for what you pay is amazing. So much soap in this container.

This soap cleans oil paint off of brushes just well enough. Used properly, brushes will be gently cleaned just enough to remove excess paint without harming the shapes of the brushes. The problem is this: what is the proper way to use this soap? The instructions are mainly provided in images. It LOOKS like you're supposed to run water directly into the tub of soap. That's exactly what you're supposed to do. Then, it LOOKS like you're supposed to swish the brush around in the tub and work up a lather. Here's the problem. Do NOT work the soap/water mixture to a lather with your brush, as the diagrams suggest. This will damage your brush. Instead, run some water into the tub of soap, work the mixture into a lather with your fingers, and GENTLY swish your brush around in the liquid. IF you have stubborn paint on your brush, GENTLY slide it along the solid surface of the soap as you would slide it along canvas. Most of the time, this is not necessary. Most of the time, you just need to repeat the above, GENTLE process, rinsing each time you run the brush through the soapy mixture. If you feel like rubbing the bristles of your brush between your fingers, DON'T; gently jostle them against your palm instead, much like you would against a canvas. You should regularly drain the liquid as it becomes too cloudy, then refill the tub and repeat. To summarize: 1) Add lukewarm water to the tub, enough to have a bit of water above the level of the soap. 2) Work the liquid into a lather with anything but your brush. 3) Gently swish the brush around in the liquid. 4) Rinse in lukewarm water. 5) Repeat, but don't overdo it. Brushes get stained, and they get worn out. Overzealous cleaning will not help.

Using this has helped me keep brushes so nice. They are clean and keep their shape while ready for the next creation.

I had sticky residue on my brushes from keeping brush dip on them for too long. I tried dish soap, hot,hot water, Murphy soap but nothing worked. Wonderful product and a must have for any oil painter.

I've used this, all be it a smaller size container, for roughly 3 years and just started running out. I painted well over 3 armies in 40K, and this wonderful cleaner kept my brushes alive along the way. Literally one of the best hobby investments you can make.

Quite a popular brand brush soap to clean and restore paint brushes. Cannot find this tub size soap in our local store so get it from Amazon US. Good value for money and it come well packed, plus it give a leaflet on how to use it.
