We spend a lot of time in the summer on boats and CeraVe is top rated for sun protection. Goes on smoothly and blends in well without leaving a white residue or feeling greasy. Will buy again.

I am mid forties with sensitive, rosacea and acne prone perimenopausal skin. Many skincare products irritate my skin. I had been using zinc only sunscreens for my face. Always felt heavy and I always couldn't wait to wash my face at the end of the day. Enter this hybrid sunscreen that my husband got a sample of from the pediatrician. Loved it from the first use. I immediately bought a full size tube. Think it has actually improved my skin. No breakouts. No tingling. Sits well over moisturizer and under makeup. My preteens even use it. Do yourself a favor and purchase this!

As it pills with makeup, I've ended up using it for the rest of the body. It's clean, non-greasy, it applies white but turns sheer. As a constant wearer of black clothing, I was worried about this transferring and showing on my tops, but it rubs off easily to where it isnt a problem. The consistency is more on the watery side, just be careful when first applying as it can easily drip through your hands and fall. It didn't irritate my face the few times I used it there, and of course absolutely no irritation everywhere else. Works as intended.

I absolutely love this sunscreen. It’s very light, not gloppy, and has no smell. I can’t stand the smell of most sunscreens but this one is truly unscented. Offers great sun protection too. Perfect for the high desert where I live and hike.

For several years I knew it was the best to wear a SPF based facial sunscreen, and did. But there's 2 types of sunscreen, "Mineral" & Chemical sunscreen. No debating which is the better to use in this or that situation when you can get a ✨️HYBRID✨️ formula that contains both Chemical sunscreens that absorb the skins UV Rays as well as mineral sunscreens that sits on top of the skin and physically blocks and reflects UV rays. Love this! It is not very oily & seeps into the skin very fast. Being that is is a hybrid formula, sure there will be some white cast, but very minimal. This works well bare faced for no makeup days, and applied under makeup & primer works well too! Great hybrid formula & great value!

I have tried an embarrassing amount of sunscreens from both high end brands sold at places like Sephora and Nordstrom to dermatologist brands to drugstore brands. This cerave sunscreen is literally perfect. For reference I am in my 30s with fair skin and combo skin. For reference I do not like the other cerave mineral sunscreens. They are extremely white. I do like the cerave ultra light daily moisturizer with spf 30 (I think it’s called) but it’s not waterproof. Here are the reasons why I love it SO much: -waterproof! (Lasts longer during a hot summer day AND I can wear it to the pool/beach with the kids. Truly a do it all sunscreen!) -wears really well under makeup -not greasy or oily -no white cast or film -cosmetically elegant -not drying and provides some moisture -didn’t cause sensitivity, acne or eye burning -i can even put it on my kids without them complaining -feels silky soft and weightless. Truly one of a kind. -cerave is a brand I trust -great mix of zinc and chemical active ingredients for effective protection -great for my combo skin -affordable, decent amount of product -convenient squeeze bottle that doesn’t leak I’m so glad I found this! The #1 reason why I love this is because I trust the protection of cerave and it wears beautifully under makeup! The only thing I can think that would make this better would be if it was a spf 50 but it’s perfect otherwise. I’ve already worn it to the pool and it preforms really well, even on a really hot day being outside for a long time! I live in south Texas. This is literally one of the only sunscreens my husband can stand wearing on his face. So it’s man approved for men who hate wearing sunscreen lol! I didn’t even realize it was labeled for face and body. Ive only been wearing it on my face, neck and chest. I need a bigger bottle for whole body application as we go swimming a lot! I purchased this sunscreen with my own money and this is NOT a paid review. I just really like it! :)

I wasn't a big fan of CeraVe's AM Facial Lotion SPF 30, and their Hydrating Mineral Sunscreens leave an insane white cast even on my pale skin, but I adore their Ultra-Light Moisturizing Lotion SPF 30. I was hoping this would be similar to the Ultra-Light but in a larger package, but unfortunately that was not to be. The first application was a little greasy and had a slight white cast, but it seemed to tone down to a manageable level after some massaging and a little wait; I think it would be a bit too white on very dark skin unless you under-apply, but on my light skin it wasn't bad. The real problems arose after the second application; I just got greasier and whiter, and it never felt like it really set down. I ended up having to get in the shower in the middle of the afternoon to wash it off because my neck, chest, and face felt slick and gross. It seems that I just can't appreciate CeraVe's hybrid or mineral formulas. If you're applying once and not reapplying, this might work for you, especially if you are light-skinned and on the dryer side. It is lightweight and I love the larger size of the bottle. But if you tend to reapply (which we're supposed to do if we're outside or near windows), or if you're darker skinned or more oily, I would proceed with caution.

The cream is open and doesn’t have hermetic potection as it is supposed to have. I don’t want to use the cream that is not properly close ! I returned it back.
