Good Recipe Additions
I have followed a high protein, low carb diet for over three years now. A good bit of the recipes noted in this book were already part of my meal plan rotation. But, the refresher was nice. What I most appreciated about this cookbook was the dessert section. There were so many new recipes for me to try. The batches are enough to last me a week. So, my plan is to choose two desserts to add to my existing 14 day meal plan. I will make a dessert a week. I'm so excited about that. The meal plan is also helpful to keep my rotation fresh and prevent me from getting in a rut and eating the same things over and over again. This book is worth the purchase. Nicely done.

Pictures Don't Match Recipes
Recipes are simple with few ingredients. My only complaint is that about half of the pictures do not match the recipes next to them.

Great pictures and recipes. I enjoy the information in the beginning to help you get your mind right and ready for your low carb diet. The recipes sound and look delicious and the 60-day meal plan is a bonus that will help take the thinking out of it for you. Most cook books might give you a 30-day meal plan so it was nice to see a 60-day one.

great cookbook
This is a great cookbook. If you’re wanting to go higher protein and lower carbs this is a perfect way to start. The recipes are simple and use normal ingredients. There are breakfasts, lunches, dinners, snacks and shakes/smoothies. You could eat something different everyday and still have plenty of choices. The sweet potato black bean recipe was a new favorite for me. I also like that there is a dessert section so you’ll never feel as if you’re deprived. The 60 day meal plan is a nice way to try everything and not have to worry about where to start. This is a great cookbook overall that just happens to be high protein and low carbohydrates.
