Probably the best nights sleep I've had since suffering a spinal disability 20 years ago. Other reviews have said about unpleasant chemical smell, all I can say is that there was a slight smell but in fairness it was gone by the time I went to bed the first night (people don't complain about a new car smell) As for being too warm, I didn't notice any difference between my old dormeo mattress (4 months old and going to the tip already what waste of moneythat was ) that had memory foam in it and the previous pillow topped sprung mattress I had , so all in all I'm so happy with it that I bought another direct from EVE for the wife as Amazon price increased in the few days between mine arriving and wanting to buy another (£209 to £349) with Amazon and only £249 with discount voucher code buying direct from EVE and free delivery to boot, well happy with that .I would recommend anybody give it a try if only for 100 day trial you won't go back to a sprung mattress ever again, I was mister sceptical but have been proven wrong and looking forward to more good nights sleeps with no springs digging in my spine. How much is a good nights sleep worth to you ? Even at Amazon price it's less than £1 per night if it only lasts a year - they are warranted for 10 years - bargain if I say so -How much do people pay to stay in a hotel for a weekend ? And how many people have slept in those beds 😳😳😳

I'm possibly a bit biased since all our beds are from Eve! But it's been the best for our family, and we've had them for many years now. The mattresses are really quite firm, which is perfect for my husband who's quite heavy at about 14st. I'm significantly lighter, but we rotate the mattresses with each change to allow for more even wear, but it just barely softens up rather than a lot, so still provides ample support for my husband. We purchased this particular mattress to replace one as part of an old ikea bed we had for out daughter, who sometimes likes one of us to stay with her for a bit in the night if she's had a nightmare or she's not well. The ikea mattress was flattened within a few weeks and for bad nights it just wasn't comfortable. Particularly for my husband who took over when baby arrived! Now we have this mattress it's been so much better. She sleeps better, we don't wake up crippled if we've been so tired we've fallen asleep there and it's much easier to sneak out, because movement is contained within the area you're in and doesn't effect other parts of the bed. They hold up very well over time too! I think our first mattress has lived well for 5 years of solid use and is still very much as good as when we first bought it.

The mattress is very good. But it had to be replaces twice before I get one that I was happy with.The first mattress I got came deformed in one of the sides, the second was super soft, I could sink entirely on it.But EVE had an exceptional customer support and a 90 days money back guarantee. I contacted them the for the first time to complain about the mattress and they arranged it to be replaced, in a couple days after the replacement I was convinced that the second mattress was even worse than the first one, super soft and uncomfortable. I contacted them again and they said that they could replace it again or give me the money back, but asked me to try it a bit longer, since my eve was replaced the 90 days guarantee had started over again. I gave the mattress a few more weeks, but it didn't fix it self. I contacted them again, and they explained me that the newer versions of the mattress are softer, and offered me a "firmer" version of the mattress, but this time I would have only 30 days to try it out.This firm version was since day one much more comfortable, and I really like it. If I'm not mistaken it was called "deluxe", but I didn't have to pay any extra for it.I always blamed the transport for the damage of my first 2 mattress, as you can see in the attached photos, that's what you will get. It's nothing like the pictures of an nice box being delivered by bike to your door. That picture is of the last delivery, the one that wasn't in a bad shape internally, so you can imagine the state of the boxes of the first 2 deliveries.I would give 5 stars for the mattress I currently have, 1 for the second I got, and 3 for the first.But given all the inconvenience of getting it replaced so many times, I'll stick with 4.

I love this mattress! Bought one after a couple of people at work highly recommended an Eve mattress to me, and I am so glad I bought one! I got it in the Black Friday sale, if you can wait its worth doing this as they are not cheap mattresses. The best deal I could find was here on Amazon, actually was the night before Black Friday so keep checking in the run up! It arrived the next day which is impressive, comes in a giant box which I managed to get up the stairs on my own, although I can imagine some people could struggle with this. I'm female, of average strength and managed it fine. Also you have to get rid of the packaging as well, its a huge box, but I just broke it down and ran it all up the tip.Mattress takes a few hours to inflate back up to size so dont unpack just before bed, allow enough time for this to happen. I have slept so well since having this mattress, its REALLY comfortable. I know some people say its too firm, for me its perfect. I guess if you can, find a shop that sells them and try lying on it to see for yourself before buying. If you buy from Eve direct they do a 100 day trial period, but it costs a lot more to buy direct from them. I am 100% happy with my mattress and would highly recommend it! Only trouble is, it makes getting out of bed in the mornings even more difficult lol!

Ok buying a mattress is a big deal and a lot of money, one of those purchases you need to make sure you get right.I Love this, my sleep pattern has been a lot better and the quality of my sleep has been great since I got this. Got it in the sale, But even then £300 is a lot of money to me. But after I had read review after review decided to take the plunge, and happy with it.Even the packaging has been well thought out, and the instructions made me smile (who ever wrote them had a sense of humor).Opened it up in the morning so that it had the day to get into shape and fully expand (even barred the dog from the bed for the day, who was not amused by that).The first night I was unsure if I had made the right choice, but then when I woke up in the morning after a solid nights sleep (usually I wake 2 to 3 times during the night on my old mattress) knew I had made the right one.At first it feels firmer than my old one and took a bit of getting use to. But now enjoy a good nights sleepHighly Recommend

Pro: this bed is really goodCons: I am really dissapointed that after several months, I would have to say it stinks for ages and it is not pleasant at all! I can't believe WHICH did not state this. I have bought other foam beds before and this far the worst! I just wanted to let you know.This bed is sold at £600 but it is often bought at £300, this is how much I paid for it and to be honest, that is what it should cost as £600 is a lot for a mattress. To be honest, I should have gone for the Dormeo form mattess had I known it would be this bad. Bought a couple in 2016 and it is also very comfy and did not have that smell. And I am not sponsor of that brand.I did read the reviews on here and saw people talking about it....but I always give the benefit of doubt! . But the smell is just awful and makes me feel very sick. So no matter how good it is! I had to give it a 1 star for just that one reason. Which is a shame.Other than that, I do support British brands and by no means have no reason to leave negative reviews. But I thought I share my subjective opinion and perhaps I was one of the unlucky ones? Now that I had the bed, it is not an item you can return onced opened and just have to put up with it. Hopefully the smell goes away soon! Great bed, strong smell!

Like most reviews on mattresses I had to replace my old one due to chronic back issues (it was really old!) So trawled through lots of other reviews on what to get next. This ticked all the boxes in terms of sleep position support, price, availability etc.Delivery was fast and when they said but please note, this mattress is HEAVY! 30KG + so will be 2 person job (I managed it but was sweating more than I should have been).There is a slight chemically smell but it does fade within a week, just air your room and it's fine. Also, I left this a good 10 hrs before sleeping on it to make sure it goes back to normal size.The first night was heaven, so comfy, supportive and didn't feel my partner get up in the night. Now, a month in and it's still the same, right up to the edge support. So glad I got this, will be buying single for my daughter.

I bought this in august a month before my house move so was kept in its packaging. unwrapped it once moved, and it was fine despite other reviews saying otherwise. Took about three hours to fully inflate but I left it all weekend to make sure. Does have a strong smell but does fade with time, I have had this now in use for one month and can still smell a hint of memory foam but it's OK. The mattress though is amazing! Worth every penny so far! Very study and comfy but when you lie down it feels firmer and your body is completely supported. I highly recommend this. It is very heavy though, so I would suggest those who are frail ask someone to help you. Delivery was also quick. Enjoy!Update now six years on... suuportive firmness is still there, hasnt lacked at all and remains extremely comfortable. I am still enjoying a very comfortable nights sleep!
