A Perfect Blend of Craftsmanship and Practicality
I've been using the CIVIVI Yonder for a few weeks now, and I couldn't be more impressed. Right out of the box, the fit and finish are outstanding — no rough edges, perfect centering, and a buttery-smooth action that makes flipping it open addictive. The blade shape strikes a great balance between utility and style, with a strong tip for piercing and enough belly for slicing tasks. The ergonomics are spot-on too. Whether I'm doing light everyday tasks or something heavier, the handle feels secure and comfortable in the hand. CIVIVI's attention to detail really shows here — from the subtle jimping on the spine to the pocket clip that disappears during use but holds firmly when you need it. The Yonder has quickly earned a permanent spot in my EDC rotation. If you're looking for a knife that's not just functional but also a joy to carry and use, the CIVIVI Yonder is absolutely worth it.

Almost Too Nice To Carry…Almost!
This knife is beautiful, comfortable, a perfect size to carry, and was super sharp out of the box. The crossbar lock works like a dream and the blade flips so smoothly. I love the look and feel of the wood scales and blacked-out hardware. The Damascus pattern isn’t as pronounced as others I’ve seen. The pocket clip is very strong. I couldn’t be happier with this knife. This is my first experience with this brand, but unlikely my last.

Civivi wood and Damascus pocket knife
Good quality and good looking at the same time is usually hard to come by, but somehow it's MASTERED in this knife, the damascus blade brings in the looks from others no matter the situation, but looks aren't the only thing this knife good for.... because this thing is SHARP, like not uh oh I have a cut sharp but like OH NO IM MISSING MY FINGER type sharp. The textured wood handle makes it easy to hold onto no matter the task at hand. And don't get me started on the price, nowadays a good quality and good looking knife will costs HUNDREDS. But worry not this is super affordable for the quality that it's giving. In conclusion, don't buy this knife if you want a cheap built, one time use, casual, ugly knife, because you'll find yourself getting more compliments on this knife than any other EVER. And you'll look pretty sharp while using it ;)

Great little bar lock folder!
This is a really sweet little bar lock folder. Lock engagement is crisp and has absolutely no play with pretty good retention when closed. This is great for everyday uses(boxes, packages, caulk, etc...) I also really like the Wood/Damascus style as well. Deep carry pocket clip is great and conceals the knife extremely well. The bar lock also offers several different deployment methods so it should be easy for most people to use. All in all, I love it and use it every single day and haven't had to sharpen it in the month I've owned it. Highly Recommend!!!! AND it also won Best Value Buy at Blade Show 2025! Can't go wrong!

This is is how you budget knife.
Always been a fan of Zac and ordered this knife specifically because of that. I have quite a few higher end knives, but also know civivi always knocked the budget class into a new level. The pattern on the blade looks great, as does the wood on the handle. A little blade play upon arrival, tighted up the pivot just a little and that's gone, still drop shutty. Feels good in hand, and blade to weight ratio is right where i like it. Came really sharp, and overall for the price it's a great knife. 0 complaints.

Looks beautiful, maybe overpriced a bit, functional and sharp!
Edit: I still like this knife but I took it camping and decided to carve a stick as one does when camping and the knife is badly scratched (see the pic) and the finish is much lighter than it used to be. You can compare it to the finish by the thumb stud. This knife stays sharp but I’m a bit shocked at the condition after carving some pine sticks. For the price I would expect the finish to hold up much better. CIVIVI is an excellent knife brand. I now have three of their knives and they do not disappoint! I am honestly torn about this one. The knife looks amazing, handle and blade are both beautiful. The Damascus blade looks unique and elegant and it’s SHARP, right out of the box it’s a razor! A few things when I unpacked it, I couldn’t get it to flip open with one hand, so I oiled the pivot, worked it in and now it does do that. Secondly, the scales looked dry and not that good. I used some beeswax wood conditioner and now it looks fantastic. My main complaint is the price. I even got it on sale for $80 and compared to my other knives CIVIVI included, I don’t feel like it’s worth it. The CIVIVI mini praxis is one knife I really like, and there is a Damascus version of that which is in the $50-60 range. It does look nice and the design is good. It’ll be my daily carry for a while and we’ll see if I need to update this review.

My favorite EDC knife!
My favorite EDC knife! I have quite a few civivi knives and this one is my go to. Easy, smooth open and close. Lightweight and Small enough to fit in the 5th of jeans. Holds an edge, feels good in handand looks great! I get more questions and compliments on this knife than any of my others.

Civivi and Zak hit it out of the park!
Not my first Civivi knife, but this one is absolutely my favorite. Fantastic edge geometry and great blade steel make it one of my sharpest, and for their first crossbar lock Civivi really did a great job. The wood scales were a little slick out of the box, but after a couple weeks with it as my daily driver they have broken in well and seem to have more grip to them. Incredible value packed in here for such a great price, I’m planning to gift a couple more and get an extra for myself. This one deserves more than just that Blade Show Best Buy of the Year Award in my opinion!
