Great putter at a sweet price!
... First off, when I was in search for a new replacement putter, this one caught my eye, the Mustang M797 Forged. I'm definitely enjoying the shape and black color. I tried an Odessey 11. The face is soft and feels good but too light. I'm used to heavier putters like Boccieri Heavy Putters. They're like sledge hammer heavy. This PGF putters are somewhat heavy but not Boccieri Heavy. I do plan on ordering some heavier weights for this putter. It comes with a nice soft and tacky grip but I might change in the future. Yes, the face does feel soft but it's easy to predict the speed and distance of the ball's roll. While balancing the shaft on my finger, it appears to be slightly toe heavy, which is fine with me. The white alignment line on the black is perfect and really helps with lining up the ball for the putting stroke. I'm definitely enjoying this new putter! I do wish that it came with a headcover but for the price, it's a great deal!

Worth it, maybe. Dicks has good options for same price
Haven’t tried it out, some people say they got a head cover, some people didn’t. I didn’t unfortunately. Not as big of a head as i thought either. Everything looks and feels good, however seeing it in person, the carbon looks like a cheap glued on plastic piece.

Nice putter but disappointing quality control
I received my putter today. I haven’t got to use it yet. The feel is good. But I will say I was extremely disappointed once I started looking it over. I noticed a big blob of glue or epoxy on top of the putter head. It is cosmetic and doesn’t affect the performance. But it definitely draws your attention away from the put and aligning your shot!
