Very solid, stable,sturdy. I have it on a piece of construction equipment and it holds an 11" tablet no problem! Installation was a breeze. Only thing I recommend is putting an extension in the combo. But they are not expensive.

Probably not your typical use case, but I bought one these 6 years ago for my recording studio so I could use an iPad as an extra screen for VO work. It’s built like a tank. Not sure how many times I’ve had to adjust it (for myself or a client), and once tightened it doesn’t budge. Super easy to install, and it’s pretty compact for the amount of options it provides. It isn’t the prettiest thing in the room, but it just works.

Outstanding mount for my Ipad at the helm station on my boat. Time tested. Over a year in and no issues. Very adjustable and secure. Well worth the cost.

We had a backup camera system that came with a terrible mount. The screen was thicker than a tablet, but the brackets on this mount let us mount it. The arm is solid and so far it's stable in our truck.

I'm using this to mount an iPad Pro into my truck, and so far it has been working great. The metal arm is very strong and stiff, and does not flex like other plastic arms do while driving over rough terrain. Be aware that "Metal Drill Base Tablet Mount" does NOT mean that the entire thing is made of metal (which I was expecting based on the name). The tablet mount portion is made of plastic, the only metal larts are the main mounting arm itself and the AMPS base plates. Likewise, I don't know why but the metal arms use a smaller, non-standard 20mm ball - so forget about interchanging or mixing and matching with other parts from other brands that use the more common 26mm ball (even Tackform has other devices that use a 26mm ball, why did they make this one the odd 20mm??). I will still give it 4 stars because it seems to be nicely made and the materials feel high quality.

Excellent tablet mount for your vehicle. 3 points of adjustment and 7 inches of arm length. Rock solid. No vibration at all. Holds my ipad mini securely. I mounted it in my truck for my ELD. The cradle is plastic, but everything else is machined aluminum. This unit is light years better than ANYTHING you're going to find in a truck stops. VERY competitively priced.

It's well constructed but far from being heavy-duty. Things worked out for my use but it was excessively overpriced.
