I wish I had purchased one of these years ago! It is lightweight but remarkably sturdy. I bought lightweight hangers to use with it but have found it's fine with my wooden hangers too. It has reduced my ironing down so much as I can tumble dry and immediately hang up all the shirts, tee shirts or tops, they rarely need ironing and I can make one journey upstairs to the wardrobe I also take it into a room in the house that maybe warmer with damp clothes hung on it to dry them.. It is great for packing to go away too, saves the clothes everywhere around the room as I hang them on the Hangaway before packing.It packs down really easily into a nice bag that is provided.

I already had one of these and wanted another. They are so handy to have - I use one for putting out clothes ready to pack before I travel (it's easy to see outfits together and to make sure that you aren't taking too much or missing something vital!); as a 'wardrobe' for guests to use when they come to stay; for hanging clothes on that I have had to bring in from the line in the garden if it starts raining; for hanging clothes on before and after ironing - there are no end of uses for them. It takes barely a minute to put it up or to put it back down again and it takes up very little storage space. They really are a wonderful thing to have!

Indispensable if, like me, you prefer clothes dried indoors but don't want your tumble dryer on all the time - and also very useful for hanging your holiday clothes on overnight before packing them in your suitcase.It's very sturdy; easy to use; space saving (you can hang a lot more clothes on it than most conventional airers & it folds away when not in use); and best of all, creases fall out of most clothes in virtually no time when hung on it, which minimises the amount of ironing necessary.May seem a little pricey to some - but definitely worth the money: it'll last for years.

Bought one of these years ago and only now replacing it as it got lost in a house move. Brilliant design. Stores away like an umbrella. Can be put anywhere inside or out. In my new flat it has turned an ordinary cupboard into an airing cupboard. If I need the cupboard for other reasons this folds up and is removed in an instant. My only outside space is a terrace. It's fine there. I normally have lots of shirts to wash and being able to put them on hangers to dry preserves their shape and saves on ironing. As far as I can tell it will take any amount of washing. Certainly 30 shirts. Highly recommended. Every home should have one. I've put it on my Christmas list.

This is the third hangaway that I have bought. I bought it for our daughter and we still have the other two in regular use. The first was some years ago and it has served us well. It had some problems with the catch which locks the legs but a bit of tlc fixed that and it has worked well since. It folds up easily for storage and takes up little room. When needed it holds a lot of clothes and is ideal as a store for items that are to be ironed. It works equally well as a drying rack and is really portable so it can be put in the most convenient place. We are very pleased that we discovered this really useful bit of kit.

OK, at £50, this is not the cheapest of its type on the market - but it is surely one of the best. I bought this as a replacement for my old one which, after more years than I care to remember of abuse, misuse, overloading and unbalanced loading finally gave up the ghost. My old one had not failed for more than ten minutes before I was on line ordering a new one - it's that essential to me.And the new one appears to be just as sturdy, just as well made, just as functional as it's predecessor. Will it last as long? Who knows but I wouldn't be surprised if it doesn't last longer than me!

My previous hanger had broken as it was quite flimsy. I ordered the Lakeland Hangaway and what a difference. Very sturdy, so easy to fold down to a smaller size for storage. Even comes with a bag to put it in when storing. The downside is there are only three hanging arms, whereas my previous one had two sets of three and was a little taller. The quality, on the other hand, far exceeded the one I had. So if you are thinking of purchasing a good quality, sturdy hanger then I would definitely recommend this one.

I bought this Foldaway Hanger and Airer because I wanted to reduce the amount of ironing that I do especially with shirts. I must say I am very impressed with this Airer. I take the shirts out of the tumble dryer and immediately hang them on the Airer and then there is very little ironing to do. It is also great when I do the ironing because the clothes hang nicely and crease free until I have the time to put them away in the wardrobe. This Airer is of good quality and very sturdy. It folds down and therefore easy to store when not using it. I would not be without it. I would definitely recommend it.
