20 Acrylic Yarn Skeins - 438 Yards Multicolored Yarn in Total – Great Crochet and Knitting Starter Kit for Colorful Craft – Assorted Colors

I volunteered to teach crochet to my son's 2nd grade class and I wanted to provide all the necessary supplies so the students would be able to take them home and continue practicing outside of class. I had intended to go through my home stash of yarn, but given the diversity in the class I thought it would be better to have a wide range of colors for the students to choose from. This set was the PERFECT solution! The yarn is high enough quality that it's easy for the kids to work with but cheap enough that it won't break the bank. The colors are bright and vibrant and the kids really love being able to choose a few colors they love. The skeins are small, but just the right size for a small beginner project (we're doing bracelets). Unless you do complex amigurumi where you need a tiny amount of a lot of different colors, I don't see this being practical for everyday use, but for learning you really can't beat the deal.

If you are looking for a creative, screen-free activity that your kids will genuinely obsess over, this crochet kit is an absolute must-have. I bought these for my daughters, and they completely loved them right out of the box!

I’ve recently taken up crocheting and just wanted a yarn kit that came with a variety of colors so I found this one. I’m happy with the colors it comes with and the texture of the yarn is okay. The two granny squares I’ve done so far look good. However I do have some notes. The skeins are a lot smaller than I thought they’d be, as you can see in the photo it’s smaller than my palm lol. Next, I know I’m no expert in crocheting yet but using the recommended hook size did not work for me personally at all. It recommends 4.5-5.5 mm. When I initially tried with a 5mm hook I was really struggling but when I sized down to a 4mm it was a lot better. Overall it’s a good starter yarn kit especially for the price when you’re new to crocheting and just wanna get going without spending a-lot of money on a bunch of yarn. I am glad I got it cause now I have a bunch of colors to work with and don’t have to keep running to a craft store every time I want to buy a new color lol.

The yarns are smaller than the pics. The colors are vibrant. Wash them bc they do not shrink, and it is soft and the yarn is study. I’m going to crochet potholders. Perfect for that. They should be easy to use.

Be aware these are little mini skeins. I did not pay attention to that when I ordered and was super surprised when I opened the bag. The reason for the 3 stars is not that, however. These adorable little skeins were actual just the right size for my project. Just know that this yarn is super slick, which made it challenging to keep it on my hook. If you're looking for slippery yarn, this is your jam. And even as tiny as they are, I still came across at least one knotted join. The color variety is great, though. Perfect size for small projects.

Smaller than I thought but that’s on me. Colors are very vibrant . Will be perfect for craft at school.

This is horrible product tiny spools of yarn. I never seen anything so ridiculous when crocheting it takes the larger spools evidently Amazon doesn’t sell the larger ones this was for a gift I was so embarrassed but everyone got a good laugh out of it. I said typical Amazon I will get out and shop more in the future ordering online can be very disappointing

What lovely colors included.I have it rolled into balls and ready to use.First off a ladybug doll.I have one arm almost done and the yarn worked up nicely.Only problem I had was I had to use a larger hook which is no big deal..I bought two packages to be sure I have enough of the colors I am using.Good deal!

40 x 10g balls of mini yarns. I bought 2x packs to crochet amigurami projects which these yarns are ideal for. They are absolutely adorable (palm size). The colours are gorgeous and bright with a good selection to choose from. Very good quality yarn. Soft, smooth and easy to work with. No splitting or breaking. Perfect for children, small craft projects or small knitting & crochet items. I am extremely happy with my purchase and will definitely be buying more 👍 5* **UPDATE** 13/04/2020 Loved these yarns and was about to do the subscribe & save option for them until I realised the price had increased by nearly a whopping 100%. Unfortunately I will not be buying them at this increased price as they are now not value for money. Such a shame because at the original price they were a great value pack of mini yarns. In my honest opinion the quality of the yarn although good is not anywhere near worth a near double increase of cost. (I have not changed my comments + rating in my original review because they were based on the purchase of these yarns at that time).

There is a wide range of colours to go at, excellent quality and easy to use as they are a small ball, easily handled by children. Made gonks super fast and everyone got a colour they liked. Value for money and super soft.

Great product a little small though

C’ est un Très bon produit, livré dans un sac pratique pour le rangement. Idéal pour petits projets avec les enfants
