Very effective in making cheese

Okay I wasn’t sure at first but this actually works really good 😅 it’s easy to use and you don’t need much at all. The quality feels solid and it does exactly what it’s supposed to do. For the price, it’s definitely worth it. I would buy it again ✨

I have been making Imeruli cheese for quite some time and have successfully made well over a dozen batches using liquid calf rennet from another brand. I know my process, my milk, and my temperatures. For this batch, I used the exact same fresh milk and followed the instructions on this bottle. The milk was at 30–32°C (86–90°F) when I added the rennet. I used approximately 3–3.5 drops per liter, which is well within the manufacturer's recommended range of 2–4 drops per liter. After 55 minutes, there was still no coagulation. The milk remained essentially liquid. By that point, the temperature had naturally dropped, and my entire batch of over 11 liters (3 gallons) of milk was effectively ruined. This was not user error. The only variable I changed was this rennet. Whether the product is improperly labeled, lost potency during manufacturing or shipping, or I simply received a defective bottle, I cannot say. What I can say is that it completely failed under conditions where another liquid calf rennet has worked consistently for me. Losing more than 11 liters of milk is not a minor inconvenience. It is expensive, frustrating, and a huge waste of time. Unfortunately, I cannot recommend this product.

Great little product that doesn't take up much space in the refrigerator. I followed the included instructions and turned whole milk into farm cheese. If I can do it, anyone can do it with a little help from Natural Probio rennet!

I bought this product twice because I thought the first bottle was ruined. I accidentally left the first one out of the refrigerator after opening, so I purchased a second bottle and stored it exactly as instructed. As shown in my photos, both bottles are still nearly full. After making four batches of feta cheese, I can confidently say the problem is not my process. The coagulating activity of this rennet is extremely slow and very low quality. A liquid animal rennet should normally coagulate milk in 45 to 60 minutes. This product has repeatedly taken up to 6 hours to form a curd, even with calcium Chloride and raw milk, making the cheesemaking process frustrating and unreliable. I cannot recommend this product and will be switching to another brand.

Tolles Produkt. Rasche Gerinnung der Milch. Lässt sich gut dosieren. Ich habe 5 tropfen pro Liter Milch genommen für einen hardkäse.

Used raw milk. Made cheese with it. So I do recommend this product.

After waiting 60 minutes, I gave up and used cheap supermarket rennet to get the job done.

Very disappointed. Tried a couple of times with different milks, wasted 4L and no results. Didn’t coagulate at all, waited hours on end. Milk cold or warm didn’t work, tried with 4 drops, 8, 16. No results whatsoever. I’ve seen positive results here so perhaps my batch was flawed.
