I'm giving this 5 stars because I feel like it should get some attention. Here's why. Yes - it's weird. The texture is granular like when it's cold. So, here's how I work with it. Take that pea sized amount with the back of your nail. Smooch it onto your palm. The best way to describe it is - grind it between your palms. You will immediately know when it's ready to apply, it transforms into smooth gold. This is not oily at all, so perfect for hair. Also, feet! I put it on my feet in socks during the day and it's great. Also, it won't gunk up things if you put it on your hands. Great for skin that just needs to be soft. Also, safe for dog elbows and paws!

Very nice butter!
I like the kokum butter, I have used it in a mixture, not yet alone. A nice touch would have been to include a storage bag in the order.

Kokum Butter, customer service.
Customer service was wonderful. I used to order the raw Shea butter and she gave me a little insight about a less greasy formula for using on my face for the Kokum butter I am absolutely in love with these products. They are great quality. I use the kokum butter straight on my face as a moisturizer and not only has my skin stopped breaking out because it’s very sensitive. The moisture is wonderful. I’ve got that nice youthful glow again. Thank you so much, ladies.

Best Before Dates Covered with another label
Only giving 3 stars because the Best Before dates were covered by another label on Kokum Butter and Shea Butter. Those dates are very important to know what they are. I noticed that one of those dates were covered was close to the end of the Best Before Date forcing me to all the product sooner than I like. This was a bit frustrating. Other than that the product was good.
