Cat won't use but it clearly good
Pretty easy to fit on to the cat tree, all needed was some hot glue. My cat won't use it whatever I try. Definitely worth a buy though.

Smells of oil
This rope smelt of oil when I received it. I've had to soak it repeatedly in baking soda and vinegar to get rid of the smell before I can use it.It feels durable and looks like it'll do the job but I can't give my cat oily rope to scratch on.

Great I don't need to buy a new scratching post.
I bought this because I wanted to repair my two scratching posts that my cat has destroyed. This is so much cheaper than buying another scratching post. You do need a glue gun in which I already have. Really happy ethe results.

Good quality and value.
This is such a good and cheap alternative to buying a brand new scratch post. I attached the new rope with a glue gun and the scratch post is as good as new. 👍🏻

Just what we needed
Our cats scratcher was in tatters so we needed to solve it without spending a fortune on a new one! This was perfect! Just the right amount so I'm pleased we got this size! So far it's holding out well! It won't be long until we need to do the next section!

66ft doesn't go very far!
The quality of the product is great, however you don't get very much for your money in terms of how far 66ft of it goes. For example I had two scratch posts I wanted to repair and started with the smaller one, which is 1ft 10 inches tall and 3 inches wide. It took 38ft of tightly wrapped sisal/hemp leaving only 28ft to do the bottom half, which obviously isn't enough to complete it. I would have thought that 66ft would have at least covered the whole of this quite standard sized cat scratch post but it's definitely not enough. I've no idea how much more I'll need to do the larger one in this case. But I'd wished I'd have bought the 128ft one now. As you can see from my images, it's only half completed and it'll have to stay that way until I can afford more next month now.Other than the value for money, it is a good quality product and my cats love the smell of it too. It's really easy to use with my hot glue gun too.
