The basic science is that oxygen helps improve the wine. The top has a filter and then it cascades the wine into the decanter. Before serving give it a vigorous swirl to get some extra oxygen in. This is very good quality product and looks the part at a dinner party.

This is a really nice decanter - and is dishwasher safe... apparently... we’ve not put it in dishwasher yet, just clean using hot water. It gives a nice pour and husband loved it for his Christmas present.

Good flow rate when pouring in wine. Good aeration. Holds plenty of wine. Easy to clean. Not too heavy, even with wine in.

I bought as a gift for my other half and he is so far very pleased with it. It does exactly what it says and looks nice too.

Got this for my husband for a gift and he loves it. We use it all the time and it's easy to clean. The glass is a little thin so you have to be careful when cleaning but it's a nice decanter and aerator for the money.

Got this for Christmas from my husband and decanted wine several times over the holiday season. This is the most spacious and solid decanter I've owned. And it's stylish and easy to clean. I've had some beautiful ones that cracked easily or required some interesting cleaning methods. I love how this one has such a big base and solid feeling when you hold it. The top spout is very snug fitting so I don't have to worry about it falling out with pouring, and the wine aerates going in and then again when being poured out. It's a really pretty effect when you pour the wine into it. This is definitely worth the money IMHO. Very happy.

The cheap wine certainly improves with decanting. I am not sure the aerator does much but it does aerate the wine when you pour it. It looks mighty swish on the table with dinner. If you want a decanter I would recommend this one.

Für 40€ erwarte ich tatsächlich einen Dekantierer, der vielleicht ein oder zwei Lufteinschlüsse hat. Dieser hat mehr als 10! Nicht nur unten darunter, sondern am ganzen Gefäß. Es ist echt nicht schön! Für einen 10er und Second Hand ok. Aber nicht wenn es Neuware ist! Das Ding zum ein- und Ausschenken ist ganz nett, nur noch nicht komplett durchdacht. Der Wein bleibt auf dem Rand und fließt nicht vollständig in den Kantierer.
