Can confirm this is the real one and not a fake and here’s what you need to know: I found out about this through the viral tik toks and people have some mixed feelings. In my experience it leaves skin feeling smooth and exfoliated, however it does not remove blackheads. I’m giving this 4 stars instead of 5 because I noticed the bits that pil up that is supposed to be dead skin is actually just the product rubbing off by testing it between my fingers. However it did make my skin smooth so I’m sure it has some kind of exfoliating function. Make sure to pair with a good moisturizer after because it is a bit drying as well. Overall I would buy it again.

This product is worth your dollars. This is the most effective exfoliant I have ever used. It’s gentle enough for my dry and sensitive skin but does the job like no other. The results are immediate and my skin looks and feels amazing afterwards. I’m shocked each and every time by the amount of dead skin that pills up and is removed (I’m probably not using it frequently enough). For anyone worried that it’s the product itself pilling up, try rubbing it between your palms and see how it does not do it there (assuming you don’t have dry/peeling palms). Five stars. Buy it.

The social media claims are wildly exaggerated. I examined my skin carefully with a magnifying glass before and after using this, and there was no difference -- the clogged pores were still clogged. What other people swear is dead skin and pore contents coming out is actually the product as it dries and clumps up while you rub your face. it's not exfoliating or peeling as people say it does. Did my skin feel better after using it? It did feel soft to the touch so the active ingredients are doing some moderate work, but actually pulling gunk out of your pores? Um, no. I'm glad I got it on sale so I'm not a lot of money.

I just hit 45 this year. For the past 3 years I have been searching for something to help get the upper layers of dry skin off of my face without resorting to a freaking sandblaster. I wash my skin twice a day, but had to cut back to once a day because we have hard water and despite having an expensive shower head with equally expensive filter replacements dryness always persisted. I would use gentle scrub sponges both in and out of the shower along with an oil based cleanser first and a water based cleanser second. Every time I would think I am really getting that upper level or two of dead skin cells off my face. I had even tried a moisturizing glycolic peel pad before I applied a very moisturizing face oil or moisturizer. Everything always felt right and soft and supple until I went to apply makeup. I don't wear makeup all of the time but when I do it is minimal and the evidence of dead skin was still on my face. The little dry patches I would have bet a million dollars were gone every time were always there making my sking look blotchy and like I just had no idea how to apply foundation or tinted moisturizer or a mineral powder. Nothing freaking helped! Enter Dr. Melaxin... I don't watch tick tock, I am not a die hard try all the new stuff cause everybody says it works type of woman. I did however know that my Korean body scrub mitt was pretty awesome and I saw a review that described this product the same way but WITHOUT the harshness on your face so why not give it a go? I was already so frustrated and this wasn't to expensive so why the hell not. RESULT: As my skin ages I will adapt my products to what my skin needs always because its a vital organ. I can say however that Peel Shot is now a permanent part of my routine. I would use this even if I had no other cleansers for my face. It is gentle and it works like nothing else I have ever used. The resurfacing I get is mind blowing to me. I wish I could give this 20 stars. I really do. I can't even describe how amazing it feels and how well moisturizer, primer, face oil, etc. absorb after using this stuff. Peel Shot is gentle enough to use everyday on face and body, but I use it for my face mostly. TIP: Make sure to get a good amount, like a quarter size in your hand and really rub it in. You will know you are doing it correctly when you see white peels of dead skin cells roll up under your fingers on your face. It may sound odd, like you are scrubbing too much off but I promise you that your are not! Your face always has waaaayyy more dead skin than you think and this is so gentle it is phenomenal!!!

I ordered this on January 2026 and initially I was like cool, it does what it says. I really liked that part lol. Now into the summer months it has become a holy grail. I’m a regular degular white girl who likes the sun. So I hit the beach back in March (I live in Florida) and got a little burnt. Cool, Normal. Same thing in May and June. Well in May something hit me - you know how after you burn you get that skin leathery itchy feeling as your skin dies and peels? I was in the shower and thought to myself let’s see if this stuff gets that skin off?? Welp I can confirm that it does wonders. It’s not a day 1 fix all but when I get a little sun burn and my skin turns over l, instead of living through the dry itchiness I use this on my face neck and shoulders and it helps get the dead skin off faster. Which in return makes my serums and facial lotions feel effective instead of the annoying - like I said dry itchy feeling you get after a sun burn. So when this runs out I will def be buying it again. I initially used it maybe bi weekly, but now that the sun is involved in my weekend routines lol. I use it a couple times a week. Hope this helps - go buy it!

This products works like magic from the first use. I’ve never been this satisfied with a product. I wouldn’t get this result even with the most expensive facial.
