Dull hair WHERE? I have dry curly hair and I straighten my hair all the time so I desperately needed to add moisture and shine to my hair and hair oil was not cutting it since I can't apply much to my hair without weighing it down. This helped tremendously, it has my hair feeling silky smooth and soft. It also smells incredible, HIGHLY recommend. Update: I have now used this product twice and I can truly say that I see and feel such a difference in my hair. Must more soft and glossy!

I have curly hair 3c and this product left me speechless. My hair was immediately soft and as I was defining my curls it was shining and easy to handle. I will totally recommend it for curly hair as well

The product is pretty thin and you need quite a bit more than you think you do just to evenly coat your hair. It’ll go much quicker than a normal bottle of conditioner or hair mask imo. I’ve used what feels like nearly half the bottle and I’ve only used the glossing product twice. (For reference I have thin, light density hair down just past my shoulder blades). It feels hydrating without being too heavy; it’s very lightweight and doesn’t weigh the hair down. The texture is less creamy than a conditioner or mask, more smooth and runny. I didn’t notice a huge difference in the shine of my hair before and after use, only slight, but that’s always been an issue for me. I may try an in-salon glossing treatment to compare the results. I liked it but I didn’t love it.

I noticed a difference feom the very first wash! My dull hair has some shine/sheen and looks a whole lot better. The more I use it, it seems to help my frizz too. Cannot beat the price. I cannot believe I didn't know about this. Starting to wear my hair down again. I love this

As a middle-aged woman with fine, straight, blonde color-treated hair, I bought this hair mask with hope in my heart and unrealistic expectations in my soul. For context- I have a LOT of fine hair and plenty of flyaways. I wanted smooth, shiny, effortlessly expensive-looking hair. The kind of hair that says, “I drink enough water and have my life together.” I followed the directions exactly and left it on for 10 minutes before rinsing. The good news? It absolutely adds shine. My hair looked noticeably brighter after using it, and the shine lasted a few days. I also liked the scent, which is saying something because I’m VERY sensitive to fragrances. It smells clean without smelling like you got trapped inside a perfume counter. Now for the bad news. Around the fourth use, my hair started feeling like straw. Not “a little dry”, more like “scarecrow chic.” It felt stiff both wet & dry, and no amount of deep conditioner seemed to fully undo it. It also did absolutely nothing for my flyaways, which continued floating around my head like I’d been slightly electrocuted. Oddly enough, it DID make my fine hair feel thicker. Unfortunately, that’s mostly because straw is thicker than silk. I kept trying to convince myself it was working because the shine was nice, but eventually I had to accept that my hair was beginning to feel less “luxury gloss treatment” and more “overprocessed craft store raffia.” Overall, I’d give this 3 stars because the shine and scent are genuinely good, and I could see this working better for other hair types. But for my fine, color-treated hair, the trade-off between shine and texture just wasn’t worth it. The hunt to find the magical mask continues.

This product is good; there’s a reason it consistently gets good reviews and ratings. The challenge is that it is just “good” and not excellent. My hair is medium long, thick and wavy. I found it to be decent enough; just not good enough for me to continue to purchase. Maybe if I had used the matching shampoo and conditioner, I would get better results. I’m open to trying that in the future.
