You know if you like it. Or maybe not.
Does anything divide people's opinion more than Marmite? Possibly Brexit, but that seems about it. There's nothing else quite like it. It's a yeast extract, fortified with B vitamins. Originally it used to use the yeast left over from the brewing industry, whether it still does, I'm not sure. Taste wise, it's a salty, savoury, umami taste. Quite unlike anything else. It contains barley, wheat, oats, rye, and celery. Nutritionally its high in protein (34%), but is also high in salt (10.8%), so, if you're on a low sodium diet, then use sparingly. Do not put it in the fridge, else it will because a thick unspreadable lump. A spoonful makes a welcome addition to any savoury dish such as a stew. It really enhances the flavour. Fortified with B vitamins and folic acid, it's a useful addition for pregnant ladies. It is suitable for vegans. Overall, Marmite is a versatile, savoury spread, great on its own, or added to a stew. I always have a jar in the cupboard. I hope you found this review helpful.

Tasty and nutritious.
You either love or hate Marmite! I love it and use it as a spread, drink and in cooking. Good vitamin and mineral content in a simple way. Brilliant value for money and far cheaper than local stores. Delivered quickly and with a smile.

you either love it or hate it {an yes we are out there those who absolutely love it } on toast standard or with cheese on toast yummy or even try a drop in a stew or casserole to give it a lift nice , or try it as a hot night time drink , especially good on a cold day

Love it hate it- this is extremely good value
As I’m not very mobile, I tend to search online for my shopping and have it delivered. Absolute godsend for me. This was the cheapest out there comparing the food shopping apps and buying three at a time is excellent. Thank you Amazon.
